  1. And I've watched Ursula Andress in the gold bikini, several times.
  2. Back in early 2000's my cousin entered a computer weekly competition, First prize was £250, second prize was £100, he won one of the runner up prizes of a USB drive with 5 bitcoin worth £10. You can only imagine the number of times he's ripped the house apart looking for that.
  3. OK people, best guesses as to how far this will dip/correct?? I have a 1/4 unicorn in my Atkinsons basket and I need to know when to hit the button. Bag of haribo in it if someone can give me the correct answer.
  4. If you're serious about exchanging gold for a bag of Haribo I'm interested.
  5. I'm not really an expert, but I suspect up, may just be a good guess.
  6. Also, Buying shares is subject to stamp duty and dealing fee, selling has a deaing fee also. If you're trading £10k or £100K then the dealing fees become a very small percentage but if you're down at the £2k mark (the cost of a 1oz bar) then you can easily be paying 1 or 2% if not more.
  7. "It's not like trading stocks." I buy £1000 of shares, they drop 10% to £900, next day they rise 10% to £990 so I've lost £10 I buy $1000 of shares, they rise 10% to £1100, next day they drop 10% to £990, Either way, I lose £10 ! ! !
  8. How long until we start quoting the price in grams? You never hear people quoting the price of petrol in gallons these days do you.
  9. Today's spot while shopping, £430 for either a jubilee or memorial sov. I also saw a 1987 1/10 brit for £195, but I'm rather tempted by that myself.
  10. Enough talk about gold, here's a video that just appeared in my Youtube feed about TV licences.
  11. That will be next month, the forum will be full of people who sold at £2000 and now wish they'd waited for the peak.
  12. I put the 1/4 Unicorn in my basket when gold was £1620 and drifting, I'm still waiting for that last £20 drop.
  13. Wouldn't say no to a brief dip to around £1600 just after 10am if someone can arrange that please.
  14. £1914.40 Up a whole 7p in the last hour alone.
