Is there a limit you can purchase (i Guess in year Basis)? i got this mail today from chards Stating “ From 6th April 2024, the tax-free allowance known as Capital Gains Tax (CGT) was reduced from £6,000 to £3,000 for individuals, and the annual exemption for trusts also decreased from £3,000 to £1,500.

Never submitted a single coin for slabbing. Not a huge fan of that but for modern coins (especially proofs) that has become a kind of a must, at least to protect the investment.. I’d like to get some feedback from you guys on TSF as i am a bit puzzled about the outcome; i’ve heard (i underline the word heard, as i have no direct experience) from dealers and other collectors here where i do live (and sometimes read( that the whole thing is not run equally and in a transparent way. Straight to the point; the RM is sending (directly or through dealers) to slab all the coins that will get the magic PF70, and for random customers or collectors there is no chance to get it privately. Is that anyhow true? Is this game completely fake? I have a 5 coins coronation set that i d like to slab, it looks flawless to my eyes but if as a private i have 0 chance to get the maximum grade i wont even bother… Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts or direct experience on that)

the series ends on 1848 even if for this very last year the small head shield is very very rare and the few known are extremely worn..( the most common 1848 is the "large head" shield

hi guys, as per title i am looking for a full 1984 and or 1999 sovereign. Not interested in pf70 coins, i m ok with loose sovereigns in box and coa (or a pf69 slab); not in a hurry so i m of course ready to consider and eventually update final price according to spot (gold spot looks like weimer republic to me, where prices were changing every minute..) i m Italian but got a London address to ship to; best

1917 London sov is a particularly tricky year. Mintage was not that low (1.000.000 if i m not mistaken) but most of them were sent away to the US to pAy a debt and melted down. But of course some (how many??) survived. It is worth now 10-15 grand because the known population is very low, but what if more pops up? last but not least there are a lot of 1917 counterfeit sovs aRound from other mints, with the mint mark taken away to look like a London one.

Memorial proof looks like a good bargain. What was original RM price at release?
