Watched the price drop all afternoon at work, £1455 and dropping as I left,

Get home, Get food, fire up the internet to make a purchase £1480 FFS.

You never know what's going to happen. I'm a subscriber to the buy it if you want it theory. If you're collecting then it doesn't matter. If it's to buy and put away then there's no rush so you can wait for dips.

That is a man talking from experience.

I reckon if you invested more in your stacking as your carpet cleaning experience - you could have retired by now... And no gas masks required.

Central bankers are politicians disguised as economists or bankers. They’re either incompetent or liars. So, either way, you’re never going to get a valid answer.” - Peter Schiff

Sound money is not a guarantee of a free society, but a free society is impossible without sound money. We are currently a society enslaved by debt.

I have no time for carpet cleaning when I'm sat here staring at the screen waiting for a bargain or someone to post a ridiculous meme. 🤣

imo its a good time to buy gold at the moment regardless of its price as russia has pegged the ruble to it (initially for a 3 month period april to june ) to test the water . also they are mining more gold (presumably) so maybe there in it for the long run. also china could be going the same way and peg the yuan to a gold standard and trade in gold as well as a gold backed currency. ( oh gordon brown you silly man,    Doh! ) 😃

LFTV.  live from the vault.   Spot price is immaterial. its just an illusion.

China have not declared thier gold fora long time. They have tons of mines and don't export.
The average Chinese person must have a lot of wealth also in physical.
Makes owning a lot of physical make me feel better when I see things like that.

A lot of clever people are talking about the possibility pegging a new currency to gold.
It makes sense to me, even if it will make people trust these central currencies more.

I can certainly see them handing it over to the 'emerging' markets, but a basket of sorts.
Why should the flipping US hold all the cards!! This new world we are going into it about sharing.

Will this devalue gold or make it more expensive??? I honestly dont know.
This could take decades!

this is how i think of it , put (in) your money where your mouth is 😃 the younger generation is not  as stupid as the goverment would have you believe . guess who,s back again ! im a dangerous man with money in my pocket . Gold talks. Money Walks. it will always be the people who set the real value of Gold and Silver as it now becomes out of the control of central banks just like Bitcoin
