I don't know the story behind these or if they were ever sold directly by the Royal Mint, but mine came from JM Bullion.  At just over $18 per oz I thought I would buy a few as I liked the design.

According to this site it is the Royal Mint. And they do sell bars with the same logo. I might get 1 or 2

Based on the 1597 Lion Dollar ( Leeuwendaalder), the Dutch 2018 proof 1 ounce 999.9 silver restrike featuring the province of Zeeland. I think its a worthy follower to the acclaimed 2017 Lion Dollar. At 5,000 mintage its not super rare - but should hold its place. The obverse has the knight with the shield depicting a swimming lion.  

One of my favorite designs of the year so far, so I picked up 3x

Recent ebay purchase.

The postie came with 2 coins today, both Young head halves. One is graded AU Details (first time  I bought a graded details coin), the other ungraded, both are obverse 3.

I bought the details coin for the lack of wear, and because I believed at least some of the “surface hairlines” might be die cracks/wear. To be fair, it has quite a few scratches, under a magnifier.
