Great photos. Out of curiosity where will the platinum one sit? Between palladium and gold or silver size wise? Either way, can’t wait to see that one soon.

Platinum is substantially smaller than silver and slightly smaller/thinner than gold.

Palladium I'm unsure about🙂

I hope one will turn up!

Platinum is the densest of them all. It is the same diameter as the gold one but a hair thinner.

I have had those three together in the past....

I know the original question wasn't aimed at me, but is there a page on chards.co.uk that details how secure your sites and systems are? I couldn't see anything obvious, although I may have missed something (currently I think I've actually learnt more about it from your posts here!).

To avoid going off topic, I received a sterling silver shilling today! :D

(a) No, Ian was going to try to agree a public statement with the provider that we could publish on site.

(b) Bob on! 😎

Fantastic! Platinum is only 11% denser than gold, and it looks to me from your photos that it is quite a lot thinner than 11%. This may have to do with the gold one having a slightly more raised rim.

As soon as I received the Pt, it was obvious that it felt a smoother, not refined, less chunky feeling coin. Nice and rounded, perhaps less 'in your face'.

Both nice in their own way!🤷

Good idea. Looks, like nobody have the Tudor Beasts on the list. Last week i shot another 2 OZ Panther under retail. Now i need more of the RM 2 OZ 10 coin boxes. I think, this is the most underrated RM series today. Here 1, 2 & 5 OZ silver.

I could be wrong but i think if you signed up for the 10 coin sets the box comes with the 2nd coin... i think!!!!

It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.

Yes i signed up and will get some boxes, but now i have more coins than continuity sets. Since you can find here and there Panthers under retail i decided to take a gamble and startet to collect what i can find for a bargain. I'll see in a couple of years if i was wrong. Or maybe sooner, if the lion looks like a pussycat. I think it's better, than hunting Gothic Crowns with already high premiums.

There were quite a few negative comments when the panther was released but i think it was more of comparing with the QB and the new design is more modern, i like both and signed for the 1oz and 2oz sets and with free postage and free box its a good deal with guaranteed purchase and no worrying about getting on the site to buy

I would try to find something like this, for example:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-PREMIUM-Solid-Black-Ash-display-case-for-44-x-1oz-or-2oz-coins/393637597848?hash=item5ba6a11298:g:ooEAAOSwyllhbqFU&pageci=158e0fcf-f58b-45b2-b947-b3772543ebd6&redirect=mobile.

I don't know, is only an idea.

That's really a great deal offered by the RM. No stress with release dates, queues, etc. The 2 OZ is sold out now and they will not restock. But we know how sure informations like this by the customer service are. I wished they offered this too for the Monarchs series.

I wasn't also not sure as i saw the Panther first time, decided to go only with the 5 OZ. After holding the Panther in hand, i decided that i need the 1 and 2 OZ also. Now i buy everything i can grab and afford under retail. Maybe wrong, but i have my fun.

Other than the obvious Gothic Crown (I assume is a steal at £1000?). I am not sure where the date is on this though? Assume it’s a 1947?

I am interested in pricing up these 1797 chunky coins though, they are real lumps!

Can be 1847 or 1853. Check the edge. 1847 is in latin mdcccxlvii and 1853 is mdccclii.
