The Today I received section is for private individuals to share items they have purchased for their collection / as part of their investment.

The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. The beauty of this game is the money can come back if needed.

first time I have have a hobby that doesn’t waste my money 💰

And unlike others you can leave it behind and it doesn't rust in some storage shed like a mk1 escort rally car...lol.

Made my day that 👍

Worth the trip I would say!

My first time there, too. They let us have 3 each!

Only today's ones had the horse reverse, so there will certainly be fewer than 1,400 of these in existence. A few people on my tour didn't even get any, so in all likelihood this presentation is rarer than today's SOTD Sovereign! 🤣

Got these on wednesday and thursday but was too busy and just opened it yesterday and today.  They are the 50p two coin gold set with jody clark and mounted observe, and a GVFC alexander sterling silver pen(hopefully it's okay to post that here)

Really nice COA on the two coin set😉. However, I think they are going back to the mint as one coin has a chipped edge and the other has frosting on the mirrior fished reverse... What do you guys think?

I am sending the pen back too, it had micro scratches all over😭.

Funny that the coin took days to arrive from Wales, and I am still waiting a dozen coins from the mint whilst the pen took one day to arrive from the Netherlands lol.

Yep! Other than a couple of postcards there wasn't really anything else that tickled my fancy. Coinwise, everything else I could see would also have been available from the website.

Would definitely pay them a visit before the end of the year🤞! Lucky for you to go on the 6th, what flavour is the chocolate?

Just normal milk chocolate. It appears to have been made in Belgium, though, so maybe it'll be nicer than average!

I have a VIP trip later in the year, so it'll be interesting to see what else there is to fill up the whole day.

Completely forgot about the other stunning coins I got directly from Pontyclun today...

In typical Royal Mint fashion, these cost 4 times the face value :D🍫

Hang on... as these came from the Royal Mint, does that mean they are legal tender? 😉

Was so hoping for tomato flavour or something

I like to buy the pre-dip dip

I've never been to the Mint (yet). Do they sell bullion sovereigns?
