US inflation up to 8.5%, our inflation not far behind and rising...

Despite what the official inflation stats may tell us we all know when looking at our bills that real world price inflation is currently well over 15% per year and rapidly accelerating.

Let's hope this form continues, it's a bummer feeling like it's too expensive to buy right now as there are a couple of bits I want, however It's nice to see an asset I own actually appreciating

Tough hey! Do we get happy ours is going up or sad if we buy more, our average cost of ownership goes up.

hope this isn’t off topic

I hope it comes down back into the 1300s tbh but whether it will is anyone's guess. I can't see it happening for a while personally but I don't like to guess it anymore... I'm always wrong lol.

Im about 100% sure there is a deep recession on the cards and Pms usually take a tumble when the market finally wakes up and panics, so temporary cheap PMs could be a few weeks/months away. 😃

Spot on there I recon. Mining stocks too.
Im patiently waiting at the moment watching oil and gas as thats leading.  :)

I think 2021 or lower gold is easily possible, especially if the 'war' stops.
My friend wants £3000 of metals & I just cant see any reason to buy longer term.
Considering he has a house worth over 1million is a bit FOMO.

Fabulous swing trading territory on the cards for metals - why buy and hold when you can profit multiple times. ;)
Could see a real melt up in the assets, but a big drop in general is more probable back to pre cough-id levels.
If a melt up happens it will be very sudden and catastrophic, catching a lot of people off guard & massive sell off.

It only takes a us jet in the wrong airspace on purpose or a false flag sacrifice with a NATO country and things could also spin on a dime. Remeber war if profitable for those at the top and peace is never profitable

Let us hope not hey. Enough bloodshed for one century already.

It really shows how far we as a race have yet to come.
