And since we were speaking about Swiss silver coins, here is my 1967 set. The 1/2 franc has the single highest grade in the NGC census.

Yeah the Lee Enfield No4 was the best bolt action battle rifle of the war I reckon, I have a 1943 dated British Maltby (near Sheffield) made one, will stick some pics in the relevant section when I get chance.

Following the recent spike in silver prices, I’ve been back on the spot price junk silver trail, as prices take a lot longer to react to sudden spikes up or down.

WHAT SOME OF THOSE ARE SILVER !!!! ??   I am sure I got loads of some of those in that monster box of mixed coins I picked up yesterday (the spanish ones). 

What % silver are they then ?

If the 1966 ones are 100pts they will be .800 silver.

I aint even a quarter of going through them all yet, at the moment I am separating them into countries, and trying to identify some of them, the only ones I am really interested in keeping are any pre 1945 wartime ones, the rest will be up for cheap offers eventually.

All silver.

The Spanish ones are indeed 1966 100 Pesetas (80% silver).

The 100 Pesetas are .800 silver. The Hercules coins .835 and the rest seem to be 0.900.

100 or 500 ? I have one 500 that I have found but its a goldy colour and isnt silver, the rest so far are 25's, 5's and lower copper looking ones, but there is still ton's to go through, I have a book coming soon so it will help me spot any potential ones of value, but I doubt there is in there.

lol its aluminium/bronze not silver, thats a different style coin, oh well better luck with the rest of the box.

Yeah , beat me to it... I use this site https://en.numista.com , go to Country List at the top , search your country and they're all there, really good site.

ASW is Actual Silver Weight if coin was melted down.
