But why do you want to know the approximate release time? That is not like with RM, when you have to queue on the website in the release day morning. :))

Because these Black Flag series coins do sell quickly, then it might be handy to know when you have to start paying attention.

They won't give you any information and they will not announce this coin. This series is a APMEX exclusive release, so informations should come from them.

Sent them an email anyway. Even if they cannot specify it any further than the quarter of the year, that would still be better than nothing. And if you don't try, you won't know either way.

But good point that it might be worth while to contact Apmex about this as well. :)

Anyone heard any news on the last coin?

I have contacted the Perth Mint via their contact form on their website about this last week, but sadly no response yet...

At least it isn't being mentioned in their upcoming coin releases section, so I'm guessing it won't be anytime soon.

  4. Liked it enough to order the 1/4 gold with our Belgian friends during yesterday's dip: https://goldsilver.be/nl/goud/9014-uk-14-oz-gold-tudor-beasts-the-lion-of-england-2022-bu-25.html

Probably will still take a while before it will actually become available, but I'm not in a rush. Gives me the time to place another order or two in due course, long live GSBE's storage possibility. :)

And otherwise it also seems to be available with our Polish friends (and apparently ready to ship in 33 days): https://www.metalmarket.eu/en/products/the-royal-tudor-beasts-lion-of-england-1-4-oz-gold-2022-5927.html?rec=302854109

*edit* Woops, just saw I posted this in the thread in the Silver sub forum rather than in the thread in the General Precious Metals sub forum. Sorry...

Is that 1/4 oz Maple in a certi-card pack? I know they do the 1g'ers in blister packs (individual and 25 pack) but not the larger maples. If yes, could you post a pic of the full packaging (front and back).

    Thanks.

I guess you could call it a blister pack, even if that's perhaps a bit of a stretch. Either way, this is the plastic packaging it came in, and I will release the 1/4 Maple from it once my coin capsule order has arrived, which should be soon.

sorry, but APMEX crushed your hope.

So I have noticed... but yeah, it's not as if they will get any cheaper from here on. So I bit the bullet and ordered two of the 1 oz silver Red Flags at Auragentum for € 49,90 a pop to keep the series complete, and I guess I will just eat stale bread and cup noodles for a few weeks... ;)

I felt exactly the same........... but gold is very addictive

If it's even remotely as addictive as silver is, I'm going to be facing some difficult moments here and there. 😂

    Small but perfectly formed 😋😋

This is a fine example of great things coming in small packages indeed. 😊
