Hope I'm not too late to enter, @BackyardBullion, but I have just sent you a donation. It's just for 1 ticket, but all the small bits help, doesn't it?

But why do you want to know the approximate release time? That is not like with RM, when you have to queue on the website in the release day morning. :))
Because these Black Flag series coins do sell quickly, then it might be handy to know when you have to start paying attention.

They won't give you any information and they will not announce this coin. This series is a APMEX exclusive release, so informations should come from them.
Sent them an email anyway. Even if they cannot specify it any further than the quarter of the year, that would still be better than nothing. And if you don't try, you won't know either way.
But good point that it might be worth while to contact Apmex about this as well. -

Anyone heard any news on the last coin?
I have contacted the Perth Mint via their contact form on their website about this last week, but sadly no response yet...
At least it isn't being mentioned in their upcoming coin releases section, so I'm guessing it won't be anytime soon.

Liked it enough to order the 1/4 gold with our Belgian friends during yesterday's dip: https://goldsilver.be/nl/goud/9014-uk-14-oz-gold-tudor-beasts-the-lion-of-england-2022-bu-25.html
Probably will still take a while before it will actually become available, but I'm not in a rush. Gives me the time to place another order or two in due course, long live GSBE's storage possibility.
And otherwise it also seems to be available with our Polish friends (and apparently ready to ship in 33 days): https://www.metalmarket.eu/en/products/the-royal-tudor-beasts-lion-of-england-1-4-oz-gold-2022-5927.html?rec=302854109*edit* Woops, just saw I posted this in the thread in the Silver sub forum rather than in the thread in the General Precious Metals sub forum. Sorry...

Is that 1/4 oz Maple in a certi-card pack? I know they do the 1g'ers in blister packs (individual and 25 pack) but not the larger maples. If yes, could you post a pic of the full packaging (front and back).
Thanks.
I guess you could call it a blister pack, even if that's perhaps a bit of a stretch. Either way, this is the plastic packaging it came in, and I will release the 1/4 Maple from it once my coin capsule order has arrived, which should be soon.

And the 1 oz gold version is sold out now. And I'm not sure what to think of the prices of the quarter ounce gold and 1 oz silver versions, and whether those will hold their value...
-
Very, but imagine the premium on a coin like that...

sorry, but APMEX crushed your hope.
So I have noticed... but yeah, it's not as if they will get any cheaper from here on. So I bit the bullet and ordered two of the 1 oz silver Red Flags at Auragentum for € 49,90 a pop to keep the series complete, and I guess I will just eat stale bread and cup noodles for a few weeks...

Oh wow, definitely one to keep my eye on. And hope it won't go all too crazy on the premiums...

My apologies for the slight overkill on the photos, but I just couldn't resist to share what I have found in a lovely package earlier today.
As the premiums on the regular bullion coins are too high for me (and pretty much everybody else... ), I decided to go for some collectible silver coins, which are all 1 oz silver coins but one.
In that sense, I have grown quite fond of the Tokelau designs, with the Terra 2020 (photo 1), Vivat Humanitas 2020 (2), Equilibrium 2019 (3), and the Chronos series of 2017, 2018, and 2019 (4 & 5).
From other countries/mints, I have gotten the Nikola Tesla series of 2018, 2019, and 2020 (6, 7 & 8), the Redback Spider 2020 (9), the Rectangle Dragon (10), the Laos Panthera Tiger (11), and finally the 10 oz Royal Arms 2020.

Another collectibles order having come in. One I had to wait over a month for, it took a while before my LCS had the silver proof 2020 Britannias in.
So yeah, one of the 3 coins is a silver proof 2020 Britannia. The other 2 being a silver 2019 Columbia Allegories, and a (ridiculously small 😂) gold 1915 Austrian 1 ducat, because I thought it was cool to have something dated back to the Austrian-Hungarian empire. 🤷♂️

Always a lovely day when two orders have come in.
The first a silver order. As silver bullion has been going a bit crazy lately, I decided to purchase some collectibles instead. One 2020 Canadian polar light series (because I'm a sucker for both Canada, and the aurora borealis), two 2020 Solomon Island coins about Pi, and two 2020 Mayflowers from the British Virgin Islands.
The second order was a gold one. A 1915 Helvetia that I couldn't resist.

I felt exactly the same........... but gold is very addictive
If it's even remotely as addictive as silver is, I'm going to be facing some difficult moments here and there. 😂

This is a fine example of great things coming in small packages indeed. 😊

Finally received a silver order from The Silver Mountain that I placed last late September. 😂
I knew beforehand the 5oz Lunar - Year of the mouse had a 6 week lead time, but unfortunately that got topped up with an additional month due to delays. At least I have learned my lesson in the meanwhile
The coin I'm actually the happiest with, and I consider it the pièce de résistance of this order, is the 2oz Ancient Egypt coin (which has some flakes of gold in its core). Surely I will have paid the motherload in premiums, but I'm just a sucker that had to have it. 😊

And they can also be ordered on Auragentum.de, € 39,90 for the 1 oz silver, € 389 for the 5 oz silver, and € 3190 for the 1 oz gold.
