I'd be expecting only an fdc coin to make a 70 decision. You've pointed out a few flaws. I'd think about keeping it without grading.

The RAM has really nice designs, especially the last 2 years. But they have also serious problems with milk spots on their BU's. The Perth Mint is disappointing me with many of  their designs in the last couple years. The Mexican Mint has in my eyes nothing to do with quality, they propably has to drink a bottle Tequila before quality checking the coins, just look at the NGC Census or PCGS POP report. I've seen so many garbage 2020 Libertads in Proof and BU, compared with the price absolutely unbelieveable. 
I don't understand the problem of the RM to fix at least the milk spot problem. Tarnishing is not a problem, its silver. With some of the nicest coin designs it's a shame to deliver coins like the 2 OZ QB Set.    

I think that the QC sticker applies to the capsule it’s stuck on. There can’t be a QC department checking the coins. That’s what we have to do.

I can understand that once you've invested at the start of a coin series it could be a difficult decision to stop. I made that decision at the begining of the queens beasts, At first i did regret the decision but now with the constant criticism i now feel vindicated in doing so. Quality in silver can be so short lived with manufacturing errors, milk spotting and tarnishing. Other mints show how the manufacturing errors can be eliminated. The royal australian mint (RAM), the perth mint, the people's republic of china (Panda's) and mexican mint (Libertads) all have seriously good reputations with quality at the moment.

Out of interest why just sovs? I'm not a fan of the modern rm stuff but their gold standard is a great coin similar size to a sov and the brits are a stackers heaven too!

Gold is the only thing I will be adding from now on, likely just bog standard Sovereign coins too at that lol

Not sure platinum has a real role for stacking either.

You may have noticed the new ranking system which replaced the old when the software was updated yesterday to the latest version.

This ranking system is designed to help encourage new members to engage on the forum and to increase overall topics and posts. Members are awarded points for interacting on the forum in various ways, posts, topics, reacting to posts etc. There is also a badge system with various badges for different achievements.

We can look at improving the system and adding additional badges in the future, such as one for members who have listed X amount of trade topics on the forum, and for member's who have been here a long time, e.g. 3 or 5 years+.

To clarify the system is simply based on interactions on the forum, such as posts and topics, and doesn't correspond to a user's knowledge about precious metals or accuracies of their posts. 

Why not i haven't bought anything direct from the royal mint in years. Between their pricing, quality control and customer service. Often it is cheaper to buy from a dealer and will check their stock before sending out to a customer.
Older rm coins are in much better condition that these new proofs. Remember Proof refers to the type of finish not the quality for finish. 

I think the pandemic will have raised the general prices of metals permanently. A new normal price higher than the old and in the uk brexit will also affect the price too. The change of the design will be an important milestone in such a coin hence the hype and frenzy approch will intice the general masses to buy some too with huge premium the masses think they are buying something of collector value!

I feel the price will continue to rise slowly and only manipulation of the market will change this. Silver knows it's place in the overall scheme of things. Platinum i feel is very out of whack. Who knows what the future holds!

I'm quite a collector series and typesets i have more than a few. When i first started out all those years ago i went for the royal mint, royal australian mint and perth mint stuff. The royal mint lost a lot of quality over the years and the prices went sky high too so i've stopped buying their stuff, older stuff is still ok. The RAM and perth mint some incredible stuff with great quality control. I buy what i like and stay clear of the hype and frenzy coins as often the premium on these coins is often lost but not always.

This would certainly get the cash registers at the royal mint ringing! Even i would buy these! Half sovereigns and full sovs.

What gold coins will you be looking out to buy when the pandemic is over and normal service is resumed?

I would never clean any coin, If you are possibly thinking of selling i would leave that decision to clean or not to the new owner.
Same with packaging too.
