It's a real conundrum for those with the 1/4s isn't it? A strange release in a sense, but I do love it. I got the bullion and am absolutely delighted with it :)

If I didn't have one this would definitely be the one I didn't get but wanted, I can't think of any others (as a modern coin collector). Luckily I haven't seen the proof in hand or that would probably be the one!

List is endless but actual example I regret not buying would be a 1937 specimen set about 6 months ago; things simply didn’t align and I missed out. Painful memory but thankfully wasn’t down completely to my choice, other factors played a bigger role

Future purchases would be a couple of nice sovereigns - probably Youngheads if any appear at reasonable prices

I am looking to buy from long time three beautiful coins to add to another two I have already (100Pesos and 300 Pesos) from a series (Battle of Boyaca):

1. 200 Pesos Colombia 1969 - Battle of Boyaca,

2. 500 Pesos Colombia 1969 - Battle of Boyaca;

3. 1500 Pesos Colombia 1969 - Battle of Boyaca.

The Queens Beast 1 oz Yale, White Lion and White Horse that have higher premiums compared to their issue prices.
Chose not to purchase at the time ( maybe regret that now ) but looking forward to lower prices as spot falls.
Dropped 3% today so the tide is turning !

I'm sure there were more collectors coins available during lockdown compared to now.

As others have mentioned the price of gold will drop as the fears of the pandemic recede so I'll be bagging a couple of bullion sovereigns before the year ends that seemed a bit pricey at the start of the year.
