The Queens's Beasts Unicorn Of Scotland One Ounce Proof.

I think this coin is much nicer than the Lion. The way the daylight reflects off the unicorn is great.

@Quicksilver @mr-dead Yes are you checking your coins with a loupe? Both of my unicorns and my beast aren't good enough, they are all going back and i've just written a long winded complaint to say that if they aren't capable of producing true proof coins i'll have my 1.5k back and be done with the series.

Low quality images but still the issues are clear, the one on the Queens head is ridiculous, check your coins and make a stand!

note: the first images are scratches i have a great zeiss loupe!

I guess they could easily be missed, but i'm not even being picky these are ones you can see with your eyes, the quality is actually crap if you look with a loupe.

Now this isn't proof but what the hell are they doing to them... quite a few of us have 150-200 year old coins without these gouges...

They are two different coins as well. The thing is if you look under a loupe or with my original images you can see 100s of imperfections, maybe they aren't capable of producing proof coins and its not like the quality control team can fail 1500/1500 coins right

Is that a 1/4 monkey? I had almost the sale kind of gouge on my 1/4 gold sheep that I put on a picture a few weeks back

Absolutely atrocious- I am both saddened and disappointed looking at those pictures. What on earth is the Royal Mint playing at? The Royal Mint was the pinnacle but now the laughing stock.

They are awful quality.

I will take a good look at my ones. It makes you think is there any quality control. I did notice the QC stickers that are usually on the proofs were not present on the pair I received.
