I need to get this off my chest. When you pay for SD but seller doesn't upload tracking, when asked for tracking details days later seller gaslights you and fails to refund all afternoon because "just going out with kids" despite stopping back on forum on an hourly basis, now he's having dinner wtf?

Sellers be honest if you are too lazy to send when promised don't feed your buyer BS

Oof, you are not only paying for priority royal mail delivery, but are also paying this because you want to be able to track it each step of the way.

Right, if you want to air this no problem mate, I have nothing to hide.

Coin was purchased Thursday evening so a few days ago is a load of tosh. I said I would post it on Friday which the Post Office told me there was a strike so they would process my parcel's & send Monday. Not my words just what I was told.

You then start whinging today that if its not sent you want your money back. 1st I find it strange you can't just wait for the parcel to arrive a day or so after when you thought. All my other buyers have not been messaging.

I went to the Post Office & collected the parcel which I sent photos of, once back I said I would refund you later but I am taking the kids out to a christmas theatre & then your messaging me again whinging now I just got back & wanting some dinner.

Are you really that desperate right this 2nd whilst I am busy. Have you gone overdrawn in the bank & regret buying I have no idea but to be honest its pathetic wanting a refund over a day or 2 delay.

Something that will be reflected in the trading feedback I assume?

You've had time to write that but still haven't had time to refund?

Correct I had time to write that because I think you are being very dramatic over a delayed delivery. I said I would refund you which I will but ranting & ranting rather than just waiting for it is not really the way to go about it.

@ArgentSmith Ive dealt  with Andrew @shawy2510 many times, five figure sum in one deal and have met him person and he is a perfectly trustable, honest, clear and two adorable little kids.  I'm sure he wouldn't be doing anything to purposely to put the mockers on a deal/sale

I'm a child of the 60s and 70s and I've seen families, communities and companies destroyed because of industrial action.

The only winners here are the unions: look at militant Mick and his £100,000 salary/bonus...

It won't end well.

Technically, alcohol is a solution..

Personal freedom and economic freedom are indivisible. You can’t have one without the other. You can’t lose one without losing the other.'

I think I pay £23 per month. Not sure if it's worth it or not, not needed them yet.

You pays your money and you takes your choice 👍

Being in a union is still important. The problem is that unions got to powerful in the 70s and then got hammered by Maggie. With some jobs more than others it is important to be in a union to protect yourself from spurious claims against you. A lot of people don’t bother, but then if they have an issue it is very difficult and expensive to try and sort things without union support.

My late father's former union organised and paid for legal action against his employer due to the life-threatening condition he developed due to their working conditions. He would have been pretty powerless otherwise (I'd actually previously engaged another legal firm for him myself who wrongly said his case was hopeless and told us we couldn't proceed).

That said, at the top level the union bosses are all part of the sham 'game' with government. It was all orchestrated in the 70s and 80s to de-power the working men (force a crisis that only affected the people - not the fat cats - and close the coal mines etc).

Exactly the same is happening now (except the unions are even more of a puppet, thanks to Blair and successors taking Maggie's baton) . Unless you think that nurses strikes etc at a time when elderly folk are being told they can't heat and eat is a coincidence - all because of Putin, climate change, and post-covid supply issues, of course

Basically the unions are just another player in the grander scheme of things, but (the way they make them so, otherwise no-one would join) as an individual they can be priceless.

To all sellers and especially relatively new sellers that may not necessarily have a lot of experience:

COMMUNICATION IS KEY.

Everyone on here have busy real life priorities, errands and activties to complete HOWEVER if you are listing an item for sale here on TSF - it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to keep up to date with incoming potential buyers messaging you and requesting updates on their pre-agreed purchases.

If you know that you are having a "busy week" in real life maybe postpone your listing until you have a bit more free time to be on top of things? Or give the community advanced notice on your listing beforehand. The last thing both parties want is radio silence on either end of a sale...

This thread should be a sticky in my opinion. Lot's of vital information for all members new and old to go through and absorb.

I agree with you 100%!

Well said, takes only a few seconds to send a message. If you can make a cup of tea/coffee then you have time to update the man/woman you have just agreed a deal/taken payment from.

I noticed this a few times recently...it's almost as soon a sales post is listed, the seller then throws his/her computer out the window and cuts the mains electric cable for good measure 😀

I like to buy the pre-dip dip

Can you tell my ex girlfriend this please? If you're busy all day, just take 3 seconds to say it's a busy day and you'll message later, not just nothing all day 😂
