A small order arrived from Yorkshire Bullion consisting of a 2017 silver Britannia and a 2017 ASE. Nothing exciting but my stack grows just that little bit more.

i was weak. i consider this one of the nicest silver coins the Royal Mint has produced.

Not sure about this one. i got it from Hatton Garden Metals. It was advertised as a Jersey sovereign, then they rang me up to say it was Guernsey. This is not a coin i would normally buy. It is proof in a box with COA at HGM new sovereign prices.

You quite often see that one in a 2 coin set with the Alderney, which is a very nice looking proof.

Yes i was just looking around to get some info. It was a bit of a lucky dip, which is HGM all over. I saw Chards had the set you mention and then i didn't feel so bad.

Both 1877 look pretty good, especially the Melbourne

1873 looks a bit poor

they look like all sydneys to me.

I don't think there was a 1877 Melbourne shield
