Today I Received.....

Message added by ChrisSilver

The Today I received section is for private individuals to share items they have purchased for their collection / as part of their investment.

The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. The Today Chards Received..... topic.

Gee wiz, that is a nice gold coin. I'm not familiar with this type but I like how simple and clean it is. Let us know how the grading goes. Lovely pictures

Small grading back today which includes some of@quicksilver medals

Too bad for the Details grades but MS70 Libertads are always worth cheering about!

Details graded were not a surprise but I am happy for NGC to authenticate and to keep them in an NGC box.

The 70 libs in bu are not usual and rarer than pf70's

Yes, I do realize that. In fact, I believe for almost any coin type from any major mint that one can consider, BU versions will almost invariably get lower grades as a whole than proof versions of the same coin.

Would love to know where I could buy this set!

Unfortunately you'll probably be looking at eBay.  A German dealer picked up a load of Chinese coins so I was lucky to get them from him at a decent price.  If it wasn't for him, it would have to be eBay but the prices are quite high.
