@dicker the 1957 thats hot off the press with edge knocks and scratches should get an MS70 grade (technically) The ping test is part of the production process, and the NGC deffiniton for a MS70 is " A coin with no post-production imperfections at 5x magnification".
@GoldDiggerDavePlease excuse my ignorance here, I know know nothing about slabbed coins!
So if you got the mint to send straight to NGC, and the capsule didn’t open in transit 🙄, you would pretty much have to be guaranteed a MS70?- ArgentSmith and dicker

So another update on my 10x world 1/10th collection. With the help of @PapaLazarou and @James32 I've manged to get within a hares breath of my final goal. All I need now is a 2018 1oz silver philly and I'm completed. @PapaLazarou and @James32 were a huge help with a triangle of a trade between us all. Paps came through with the 2 krugs and all the caps for my silver in all the sizes I needed. He's got plenty more where these came from if you need any. Time to bore you with my pictures now after rambling....
What an awesome challenge and an amazing looking result. Well done @Mtaybar

The first silver 1oz Krugerrands were limited numbers of silver proof in 2017. Since 2018 they have produced bullion 1oz the 1g were silver proofs only 2012
I bow to your superior knowledge @Petra and agree with you 👍🏻

This Krugerrand seems suspect to me, and maybe a fake. And if I am correct, the first silver Krugerands were issued in 2017
Looks ok for a 1 GRAM Krug? What seems suspect to you and is there really any point faking one?

Just a guess but I recon the memorial bullion 2022 sovereign coming out on the 31st will be around until a 2023 coronation bullion sov is released around April / May and then back to normal in 2024. 🤷♂️

I see from google
”Gold leaf is the basis of the gold ink used in Islamic calligraphy and Islamic manuscript illumination. The leaves are crushed in honey or gum arabic, then suspended in gelatinous water. Because the gold is not pulverized as in industrially produced metal inks, the resulting surface looks very much like solid gold.”
There must be a forum out there for that and hence a market?

I’ve only been here a yearish and purchased a few sovs off of people here. The first thing I looked at was the sellers feedback. If the seller had a low feedback I looked at their history, messages and interactions with the site which usually tells you all you need to know. Having been here for a year there are loads of members I wouldn’t even bother looking at their feedback before buying from now as I’d naturally trust them. As others have said, it’s probably the niche coins you are selling causing the lack of replies and not much to do with you being new and having no feedback. Had they been a handful of sovereigns at a reasonable price, you’d probably have sold them in hours. And in answer to your question, never been scammed on here 😀

Presumably due to price inflation, 5£ a pint, 5£ a burger etc.
ye, recon your correct there @Zeuk. Especially with the burger. All event food vendors round here are now £7-10 a burger.

I've never seen anything like it. I have parts dealers of mine looking for second jobs. Ive even had to ask James32 for pocket money for Tudor Beasts.
Ye, it’s a real odd one. I run a few largish events (5-8k people) and there is no shortage of people wanting to get out and about but once in the event keep their hands in their pockets. I recon every event this year has had record attendance along with probably its worst take 🤷♂️

Thanks @blackadder for my prize 😀, it got delivered today 🙄. Used @DrDave new coin photo contraption that turned up as well. Really easy to use and good results considering it’s a phone camera 🧐

And this one is petrol, got the boys to the church when I got married 🙂
This is why Gillick bullion Sovereigns prove to be difficult to find in higher grades.

But surely it wouldn’t matter as at that would be part of production?
