@LawrenceChard @ChardsCoinandBullionDealer If you go to gold in your top menu and select sovereign you get a 404error

I won’t be paying that for sovereigns I’d rather buy Brits or save the money
101% of spot! Are you mad? I’d buy every sovereign going at that. If you have 100 for sale, I’ll throw in the wife as a Brucie bonus 😀

Awesome spreadsheet @Silverlocks. @ChrisSilver what’s the chance of converting this into a webpage on the forum with a live spot price? 😀

I recon it's the release of the 2023 Britannia. They sure know a lot about them 🙂

Finishes in 57mins, don’t worry though, he has an identical listing with the same photo! and it’s only £1 start rather than £5. Has another 3 identical listings with identical photos but for a couple of quid could be worth a punt lol

Are you VAT registered?

If the sender states the wrong code then it’s nought to do with shipping agents or customs, they are just following their sop’s. If that’s what the paperwork says then that’s what it is unless they decide different. Which they are not going to do in this case. A. it’s just a coin as the paperwork says and B. rarely do they reclassify something that declares a VAT liability to something that doesn’t. As a company we could just offset this if it happens and stick it on our deferment account but as an individual I presume you’ll have to contact your equivalent of our HMRC in your country and fill in a claim form.??

Yup, wrong commodity code

You don’t need to pay here to play. I decided to become a paid member after a couple of months looking around and have saved myself much more than my membership fees in my 5ish? Months of being a member from buying from other members on here.

Received a few weeks ago but just got around to photographing today, a lovely 2016 Chronos from the Pressburg Mint in Slovakia from @Yorkshiremanc for the Christmas Draw. Cheers Mate.

The duty rate on silver imported into the UK is 0% I believe so there would only be VAT added.

Watch it, I happen to have a few gold inlays! 😎
They are or were very practical.
(Mercury) amalgam was never ideal, and my inlays were intended to have a 20 year design life. I still have some 40 years later.
I am sure there are now better equivalents.
Nope. Gold is still the dentist’s preferred choice of material if the patient can afford it because it is very malleable, does not corrode and is very similar to the hardness of natural teeth. 🦷

Welcome and happy stacking 🪙

Shame the mint WB used closed in 95. You never know, it might have been bought out and records still exist?

They must of used the 50th birthday boxes for other coins then.

Should it not be this coin in that box? Maybe this is from the same set?
