What might the gold price be in four years time in 2026?

I thought it might be interesting to ask this question that none of us have the ability to know but I hope it’s a bit of fun.

It would be interesting to come back to this thread in four years time in 2026.

There’s no wrong or right answer as nobody can know. I say March 2026 and we all know that a day, week or month or even a year is a big time frame for the gold price.

This is just a thread of jest and fun.

For arguments sake let’s go with W/C Monday 16th March 2026 or anytime that week.

This is just a guess, it would be good to see as many members of the forum as possible commenting what their guess would be.

Anyone can comment what they like but it might be good to just see a figure without reason nor theory. Keep that reason or theory in your head and comment and guess.

My guess for W/C 16th March 2026 is and it is a guess, as yours will be, my guess is £1,890.88 in GBP.

Well the real question is, will there have been a fiat currency collapse by then?
Putting any price in Western currencies against gold is meaningless.

i say 1 oz of gold is less than 30 oz of silver - i can only measure its value against real money.

Who knows what the future will bring, it's bit of fun to speculate, even if it is useless Western currencies.

As i say i cannot give a fiat price for gold - so i give a real money price - less than 30 oz of silver. i think we can be much surer of that. It could be £10 million - it could be £100 billion if the fiat system collapses.
