I wasn't sure whether to post another photo of the same coin, but a nice finish has to be appreciated from more than one angle!

Is it me, or 2oz and 1oz silver have different finish? It looks to me like 2oz is matt while 1oz is shinier

I ordered 2 x 2 OZ, still on my invoice, no cancelation and dispatch is on his way. They didn't took money until now, so i'll now in about 2 weeks what they have send.

2 Dings on my coin, so back it goes for the lottery of returns....

Already resigned myself to having to buy one from the flippers/scalpers should no replacement be available from the RM.

I like the design.  Now that I see pictures of the coin, I'm not sure I like the finish.  As a representation of an old, historic coin, this coin would look so much better with an antiqued finish.

I have been looking at the release date and there is potential for some mega coins in this series,  they will not all be a faux-hammered coins.  Edward VII this September this year could be a really interesting coin possibly reuse/rework George William De Saulles portrait?     

Henry VIII next jan, this will be a feeding frenzy for this one.

George V October 2024 a new proof George V?  Yes please 

King William III and Queen Mary II  march 2025  Hell yeh! 

and 2026 every single one Elizabeth I, Queen Anne, Queen Victoria, and to top it off QE2 and theres bound to be some gems in this series.    

Time to get saving up!

I like the idea, that we see a coin, almost like the people in the past did direct after it was strucked, or better hammered. I guess i wouldn't like it in proof, or antique finished. It looks awesome, just like it is

I was told by someone at the mint that the limit is 3 on the 1oz silver but 1 on everything else. You can take that however you want bearing in mind the usual standard of info you get from there🙄

Maybe because the 2oz was a mintage of 700/710 it was only 1 per person?

It's close but you might be right. Very little in it though.

I think the gold is wonderful but the silver is very "take it or leave it"

It is indeed x3. I ordered x2 but obviously regret not getting x3 now.

With demand for the 1oz silver being so high, I'd expect the household limit to change for the next release.
