You could buy 8 to 10 original Henry VIII gold coins for that!

I'm with you on this, geo'.

The design is bland and uninspiring - altogether rather dull. I know Henry VIII had his detractors on the grounds that he looks a little goofy - but no one can say that design was bland and dull!

It’s not a good one. At a point where the series is at a low point.. the eyes?!?!  But I still like the series.

Looking at it again, they did well with the detailing in the hair. But compared with the completely flat face, it just doesn't work. Especially when you compare it to the gold coin to its right, which has much more varied relief around the neck and jaw

I want to keep going with this series but they aren't helping themselves😂

Ordered from RM on Tuesday and delivered today (Saturday morning) - that's a record for me! And get this, I can't see anything wrong with the coin - so I won't have to return it.

Same here. Kinda. I ordered the 1 Oz and 2 Oz silver coins on Thursday and they got dispatched the same day. 😎

Maybe you were the only 2 that ordered these coins...they don't seem to be that popular as always in stock or available to order from what I've seen days after their release 🙄

It’s possible. Even the previous coin George I is all in stock.

This is a record. I have already received my coins Down Under. 🔥 

Quality on both coins is great - no faults here! The portrait is smooth (as noted by some on here) and lacking definition, but it looks pretty nice with the frosting.

The box too has been QC checked. 😎

I wonder with this series that I haven’t yet bought any of if the interest will increase once we get into 2024/2025.

The RM released this series and then quite early into it we had a change of monarch.

Sometimes the release that nobody wants are the coins that everybody wants in the future.

Less sales = lower mintage, but you all know that already. I hope.
