My order of the continuity coin is showing "Gothic Crown Quartered Arms and Portrait 2021 UK 2oz Silver Proof" in the open order. No email request for confirmation or anything.

Anyone knows whether I need to do anything coming Monday during the launch, or is the mint automatically charging the cost to my credit card and sent out without me doing anything?

I'm in the same boat I'm reckoning they will just send soon as payment clears I'm not worried as long as I've got an open order 🤗

Like many others here, I received an email to secure the Portrait since I have the QA purchased. I’ve replied to the email but no one has called from RM yet….
 

I called them yesterday, but for some reason decided to speak to agent directly (not commemorative sales) he explained  that there is a large backlog of people to call and they will call me if I have provided contact numbers

Is it what other people here are also experiencing… ?

The anxiety over this launch is crazy!.......I can not believe they have stitched me up for another £305 on the 5oz gold.  They should have put up all the silvers £50 and give us gold buyers a discount.

I guess you can look at the bright side - it is a great exclusive coin and in the long term £300 will be almost irrelevant.

What the hell can be the delay if these actually ARE going to be struck on the 6th? I have my doubts.

All they would need to do was flip them into a capsule, kick them into a box and get postman Pat to collect.

My understanding is that they are struck on Sunday and then due to be dispatched to anyone who has one on order on 17 Feb. I guess the ones they have assigned to dealers will follow and any delays could be with the dealers, perhaps? Chards may very well want to take delivery and watch the market before releasing them. You could always ask them! They are on this forum @ChardsCoinandBullionDealer.

I have no idea. I can only guess that although the SotDs will be stuck this Sunday, they must be having a huge backlog in the packaging and dispatch department stemming from the first Gothic Crown coin, the Platinum Jubilee coins, the Monarchs coins, and potentially some of the annual sets. 😐

Chards have already had them in pre sale for a reasonable cost. I missed out/🙁
