What do you think will be the reaction of gold price when FED finally rise the interest rates? They will have to, with this inflation. Just a rumor of rising them caused a big dip on s&p500, crypto.

So that show that when they rise interest rates the stock market  and crypto will dip.

What assumptions do you have about gold price then? Down as well, and money flow to 10y US bonds?

They cant raise rates to satisfactory levels: in the context where the US and Western economies would have to take the hit. If I was in charge, rates would be around 10%, competing against the Russians for example (in a European context). The truth is this wont happen.

The reality states that any Fed or BoE rates will be done with little pushes up, a few basis points here and there. But never to the level of properly sorting things out, like I mentioned above^ (10%).

Since the Gold and Silver "markets" are controlled by the same central bankers I expect nothing. Real change will come when Russia and China start buying Gold holdings for state safety and geopolitical strategy.

The only way I can see things properly changing is if or when China announces a gold standard or semi gold standard. But, I think the West would genuinely declare WW3.

Its a hard one. But for sure Gold and Silver prices will continue to be in control by the Western lunatics with all the manipulation thrown at it.

I wake up hoping Xi sends in Gold holding orders and at least announces geopolitical transactions in Gold in some way.

Pm’s can rise in a tightening environment, especially if it’s already priced in.. as mentioned above though, they can’t go to far without upsetting the apple cart.  The economic reset can required in 2009 has been kicked so far down the road they can’t even see it

It’s a different view on things, but, for some of us (I’m sure I’m not alone) who are newer to stacking, I don’t like seeing the price of PM’s going up!

I really like it when they go down as it’s a chance to buy.  I obviously want the long term trend to be upwards but kind of like watching any reduction in gold price as it gives me a chance to buy. For anyone at the start of their PM journey/addiction🤔😆 everything is a wee bit back to from from the general forum mood.
