Always fancied an Indian head. Is it comparable in size to a sovereign?

Yep.  Just under 0.5mm smaller. $5 is 21.6mm

Great Mexico silver pesos!

I have looked at collecting these, and the earlier 8 reales, due to the Spanish link and they are very impressive in the hand. I am always tempted at the US auctions as getting mexican coins in the UK is almost impossible (goes for anything from central and south america). I do like the small gold 1 peso for a date run though[emoji16]

I have at least 7 raw Pesos in the same condition if your interested... Eventually I'll send them in for grading as well.

That's a great collection - all different dates? The leading NGC registry sets must have taken some time to put together - just need to persuade the kids that they will need to complete the various sets I have?

I noticed one in MS67 went at Heritage in January which I didn't bid on as I spent too much on another lot in that sale!

@morezone - nice work with the Indian Head half eagle. Not sure if you noticed it (I am sure you have!) - but you got an S Mint mark there, so it's a San Francisco 1911 coin.  Always nice to know if you want to go for a set of the different years or US mints that issued these beautiful coins.

1g 2016 Disney Note from JuneYao Group which was sold through Shanghai Pudong Development Bank

$5 Indian Head from HGM.  Didn't think I would get it as I took so long looking up the stats to work out the % over spot since HGM no longer display it.  I missed out on the $2.5 a week or 2 ago for the same reason.

Australian Domed Southern Sky 1oz Gold Coin from the New Zealand Mint.  Very nice packaging.

So you got the indian head.  By the time I noticed it and went to check out I forgot to tick the terms box and had to go through it again only to find it was gone.

I didn't notice.  Just had a look at the coin and it's really hard to make anything out with the naked eye through a capsule.  Just looks like a bump.  Had to blow up the pic I took to see the worn out S.

I was surprised I managed to get it with all the faffing about working out the premium.  The big question is, who got the $2.5 Indian from the other week. I know for next time to not even bother working out the premiums on the Indian heads.  Just buy!  Click, click and click faster!

Open it - If or when you do sell the next person probably will.

Agree. The plastic bags are easy to open without damage and sort of re-seal. Well, the full ones are.
