Today I Received.....

Message added by ChrisSilver

The Today I received section is for private individuals to share items they have purchased for their collection / as part of their investment.

The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. The Today Chards Received..... topic.

True. You even see them for sale graded as VF, EF etc

Never realised that, I mean they are pretty interesting but not sure grading is needed :D. I have an 1821 full sov one too that is in super good condition, will put on in each display box in the corner or something

Well, you do see them in various states of wear through varied amounts of use, so it's logical that collectors will want the best specimens, no different to coins really. I think assigning them the traditional coin grade labels is a bit arbitary, personally.
