Agreed. The newer blister packs are quite useful for storage as they are slightly more easier to “protect”. The carded versions I usually put into a plastic folder sheet then wrap in bubble wrap and forget I ever owned it. 😂

To be fair, the reverse, apart from the discolouration looks decent enough. 

Still a cool looking blob of metal. 

Picked up a claim or right £2 in the lot and sold it for £20, so kind of offset this, which was fine. 

Can tell by the queen's eye on obverse though.

Yeah, looks good. 

I didn't actually realise the writing around the coin on the obverse was recessed on the real ones either. 

A bit of a giveaway too. 🤣

Yeah, it's always good to see fakes and real coins in pictures right next to each other. Everything becomes so obvious. 

I did get it realising it was more than likely a fake, so doesn't bother me. Good learning tool. 😅

Thanks for sharing, I have an ungraded one of these so its good to see another for comparison, they both seem to be very similar condition, I suspect I'll be holding it for some time before i see a profit but i do like a shieldback so in the meantime I'll just enjoy it till then. Best wishes
