@5huggy - also interested in any group-buy option.
I actually had "bought" one of these from Sigma Metalytics, a few months back, but the bank blocked the transaction and I failed the online banking security questions to release the payment. That delay saw me spend the cash on more gold - kinda regret that decision!

Just totally had an involuntary buy of this coin 😂 couldn’t help it.
So did I, when it was £20 more expensive!!! Still think it's a fantastic deal!

Opinions please I want to buy a 1 oz coin. Would you suggest a 1 oz Krugerrand or 1 oz Britannia? TIA 👍
Which is cheaper? Both have 1 troy oz of Gold, so unless you like the look of one over the other...
In fairness, if you have the cash, @Troy77's suggestion, of a 50 peso, is spot on!

Linked in an earlier post... great price (<3% over spot) for 1oz of 999 Gold: [https://www.atsbullion.com/one-ounce-gold-coins/nugget-one-ounce-gold-coin/]

Got me three. Not on Darren's website for some reason
Updated and just see that they now are offering free delivery too (puts them in the running for cheap sovereigns, now too)...
Also spotted this [https://www.atsbullion.com/one-ounce-gold-coins/nugget-one-ounce-gold-coin/] at less that 3% over spot

As discussed previously, the confusion over the weight (on the website) has not done any favours for this coin.
I bought one (at risk) initially, but now that it is confirmed 1/4 toz, I have setup Revolut and will (hopefully) buy many more; less concerned about the proof / resale value, as opposed to being a source of spot price gold.

Also has anyone else on the thread recived theirs yet?
I emailed them and got a tracking number - apparently royal mail attempted delivery today, but didn't leave a card... Arranged redelivery for Monday.

Nice one, @TheApe - just ordered one. It'll go great with my 1966 10-Shilling
Worked out at ~6.5% over spot, delivered to UK. Not bad for a low-mintage proof!
Just saw on my bank statement, that I got caught for a foreign transaction fee (initial payment on a different card got rejected)... +£9.53!!!!
This 1/4oz (troy or ?) just got a bit more expensive - still, it's gold, so I'm happy(er)

Good price considering these are low mintage proof coins.

Just found this on the Sharps Pixley: Shipping & Delivery FAQ:
Any order below £500 gets shipped 2nd Class Signed For, so would not be covered for loss / damage - although they do state you can upgrade delivery at checkout.
