All I want for Christmas is . . . . . . . . ?

Dear Santa, for Christmas, I would like:

1) The pin number to @James32's gold vault (secretly, I know it's 1234, but don't tell him that I know that).

2) From @HerefordBullyun, the man must have more stamina and fortitude than any other man alive, so, some of that (not the face though, I've heard bad things).

3) I am told that @Gruff has a large collection of [THE FOLLOWING HAS BEEN CENSORED].

4) Then there's the confidence that @Paul exhibits for silver going to the moon (with even a troy ounce of confidence like that, I'll be a hit with the lady-folk).

5) We all know that @stefffana is secretly the owner of 1001 silver trays, so, the nicest, most expensive one of those (mostly just so I can then sell it on the forum for 999.9 gold).

6) I am told that @LawrenceChard clocks in for work at 10:00 and clocks out at 10:01, Monday to Friday, so, those working hours would suit me well (then I too can grind my wat to grandmaster on TSF).

7) Let's not forget @GoldDiggerDave, who I am told has the finest gravy tap at his local pub,  so, it would be nice to have that (mostly because the one that we have for the whole of Northumberland hasn't worked since 1721AD, but we're too poor to buy a new one).

😎 I have seen @ArgentSmith's incredible handiwork (not sarcasm!), so, I'd like to have a ring from him fabricated from an Una and the Lion 2Oz silver coin (mostly just to watch someone destroy the coin that all the flippers want and then have to give it away for free).

9) @Charliemouse has some very choice stair designs from the architect, so, I'd like a home showcased on Grand Designs that his architect has designed to his specifications (mostly just to watch the guy who hosts it have to navigate such a torturous obstacle course).

10) It would also be nice to have some of @SheepStacker's wit and humour at my disposal (then I too can let everyone know that I think the world has gone full clown mode).

11) I would like to wish @LemmyMcGregor a safe trip to Italy (definitely not showing bias because he bought my book).

12) And, lastly, to wish a very Merry Christmas to all TSF members (because, if I tag everyone I interact with above, I'll be here all night!).

I think you been on the hope-ium. :)

It’s 4321.  The photo he took on his phone to remind him, is upside down.

I would like Royal mail to realise Special delivery means next day delivery, not special needs delivery in a week if your lucky. I feel the new work van vibe. Although my pick up is quite festive at the moment, the dash is lit up like a Christmas tree. It still runs just but second wish would be at a bear minimum, an auto sparky that's not going to cost me my gold ounce brit and can fix the problem. and my heating oil tank with more than 200 Ltrs in it. Some free shiny would be nice

1989 pf70 £5 sovereign

An indestructible pair of waterproof gloves

A half decent electric mountain bike

A Mexican cookery book

A pair of gortex socks ( not normal socks )

A new van without the £35k price tag

I swear by sealskinz socks mate https://www.sealskinz.com/products/waterproof-warm-weather-ankle-length-sock these warm weather ones I wear almost all of the time as they are one of the most comfortable socks for walking for me........and I do put the milage in every day.

These cold weather knee high socks are for serious weather they are like wearing a pair of wellies in terms of how water proof the are and they have kept my feet warm on  some of the coldest days.   https://www.sealskinz.com/products/waterproof-cold-weather-knee-length-sock

Electric bikes are tricky as the base price has gone up loads what was 3k for a very good bike is now 4.5k before you blink.   (I've have 4 now) Scott bikes are fantastic something like this https://www.onyerbike.com/m7b0s452p16170/SCOTT-Genius-eRIDE-930-2022

Gloves are just wear and tear I've have these for 3 years and they are doing okay https://rab.equipment/uk/axis-glove

Vans.....Yeh mental money for what they are.

£5 PF70UC sovs make for a nice stocking filler  🤣

As for the Mexican cook book......I'm out of luck with that one, it's just all Chilli and burritos isn't it?

Have a good christmas mate.

Yep, they are excellent.  They are in the category of 'black magic' technical clothing, along with Gore-Tex.

Chilli probably won’t be in a Mexican cook book as it isn’t Mexican food🤔

I'd say it needs to be a carbon frame at least to provide the offset to the weight of the batteries and allow you to climb like a Tour de France legend :D
And cos I have a carbon frame and love them. Stiffness is unparalleled so the power transfer to the rear wheel is ace. But then you know that Dave

Mate the second that thing hits a bump it will turn into 14k worth of carbon dust🤣

I got the eGenius 700 tuned, and that’s an animal I’ve got up climbs that I can’t walk up.

Nah, I've had carbon frames for years. First one was a Trek 9.7 Elite hardtail.

Then a Trek 5500 Road bike and on and on. I nearly bought a Scott Genius 700 Tuned, beast of a bike!

If I was betting on it, I would say "yes", but possibly not on the Chards website.

The photos were from:

https://taxfreegold.co.uk/iran.html

Which is now one of our "heritage" sites.

😎

Ahh, I have checked the website and didn't see one listed on the stocklist, nor was there a dedicated page for the coin, so assumed there wouldn't be one.

Dear Santa,

Please buy me all the goods inside this shop that I saw in Bangkok China Town last month.

If they are too heavy for you to carry, then please buy me the whole shop instead.

Thank You !

Sure, but we also have a "secret stash", of coins we have bought but not yet got round to adding to our stock database, despite having a team whose main job is to add them. Some of these we have owned for about 50 years, so in another 50 years, we should have most of our stock listed.
