Thanks, thinking it might be easier to add funds to my account beforehand as well to save time (and reduce probability of screw ups) during checkout... Just have to guess how much for the half Sovereign.

I don't think you can use your investment wallet to buy commemorative coins. Someone correct me if I'm wrond😉

Both haha, think it's card only for commerative items.

I tested adding something (Carded 1/10 Gold Britannia) to the basket and it would have allowed me to buy with funds already added in there.

Please note The Royal Mint have advised these coins should be available in January 2023.

Remember if you are buying direct from Royal Mint your card wont be charged until the day of dispatch.

So if funds are a wee bit tight for you next week, given the short notice of release but you'll be able to afford in January, you wont be charged until January

(you'll obviously need adequate credit limit for the payment to authorise next week)

yes, think you are right Steve

Needs to be a card payment on the day or charge it to your RM account if you have a credit account with them

Now that the bullion Memorial Sovereign has been announced and that it will be dated 2022, released in January 2023, when are we likely to see a 2023 dated sovereign and will it have St George & the dragon?

Very good question. Where did you get the info from that the 2022 bullion version won’t be released till next year?

It says on the Royal Mint website that the bullion Memorial Sovereign will be available to order in January.
