my first silver pour ever !!

So after a long wait and getting my stuff together I finally got going today. my stamps are currently in production so hopfully I'll have my first finished round soon. think this came out ok for a first effort.

I think you've been very sensible to start out by being equipped with the right equipment, in what appears to be items of good quality.

Your 2 Oz bar, most recently, looks superb, especially considering it's only your 2nd endeavour - do keep us updated with more.

There's something quite nice about pour lines in silver isn't there! Are they down to luck or is there a knack to getting them looking nice?

yeh love the lines. secret is to get the moulds hot before you pour. I keep a blow torch on the moulds before and during the pour and a little tap on the mould helps 😀

so after trying pouring which I'm in love with tried my first sand casting piece today. kept it simple. think came out ok 😀

Good lord that's nice, the edges really help it emulate a real shell.

You could make another, bond it to this one with silver in an open position and place a little nug of gold inside 😜
