No picture I'm afraid. I was just doing inventory and was trying to find potential storage solutions for my 1/2 and 2TOz bullion lunars. Having looked through the pictures in this tread, I cant believe how beautiful some of the early ones were, especially the proofs. You guys' collections are amazing! For the collectors of the more bullion  (boring?) stuff, how do you store your odd sizes? I want to try and condense things but avoid chaos. Ideas please?!

Your post has been moved to the photos discussion thread.

As per the information/rules outlined on the photo only section, please only post photos in the photo threads and keep the discussion in the discussion topic here :)

There is an information thread that details how to quote a post and then post in the discussion topic instead of the photo topics, please see that if you are unclear. Many thanks.

I guess this belongs here

It's best to crop your photos before posting, or even just for your own use. Many phones can do this, and there is plenty of free software which you can use. We happen to use Adobe Photoshop, which is expensive overkill.

Here is a 1/10 ounce platinum noble reverse as an example:

We have got pne ounce photos also, but this was the first image I found.

@AntOrta Very beautiful 🙂 But you may want to post your pictures within the topics

https://www.thesilverforum.com/topic/11158-today-i-received/

https://www.thesilverforum.com/topic/5-today-i-bought/

https://www.thesilverforum.com/topic/33991-today-i-want-to-show/

which are the central representation topics.

The pictures can also find their place within the fitting gallery topic in the Photo Only Subforum

https://www.thesilverforum.com/forum/55-photo-only-topics/

This thread is the discussion thread for commenting on pictures that are placed within the gallery topics.

🙂

Another shield half sovereign this time a veiled 1887.

Although Victoria does have a veil on this obverse, it is normally called a Jubilee head or portrait rather than "veiled".

The old head portrait, used from 1893 to 1901, is commonly known as widow head, or veiled head.

There is an argument that using veiled head for either type should be avoided as it could cause confusion, although...

It could be considered confusing to call the old head a widow head, as Prince Albert died in 1861, so arguably many young heads and jubilee heads could also be called widow heads.

Thank you for the correction and information I’m fairly new to sovereigns so I’m still learning gradually.
