As they had more than 100 of them originally, I suspect they were unsold stock directly from the mint.

Anyway, if you were to be buying one instead of a bullion sovereign solely as an investment, then they'd be second hand either way when it comes to realising your investment.

25 percent discount seems huge. I’m tempted tbh. Think the montage for this year was around 12,000. I maybe wrong.
