Hello dear silver friends, today something very special for the collection. I am a fan of the 2oz silver stackers from the Komsco Mint in South Korea. Here is the gold-plated Kitsune Mask (fox) in a floating frame. I bought it and just love it. Greetings from Maxe.

I just love world gold coins. Received these this week, a bunch of TSF purchases including a 1902 double sovereign, Perth Mint 1899 sovereign (first year), four Chinese Pandas and a 1887 US $5 coin.

What a hoarde! More gold there in one go than I own! 🤩

Even though the Britannia is a lovely beast I can’t help but swoon over the 5 sovs and the 10g bar. The more gold spot goes up the more attractive those fractional pieces get.

I picked up the Coronation Coin from Martin @ Silver Trader. I'm surprised at how much I like this one, the cypher comes across really clean and crisp. From @theman73 I bought the Seymour Unicorn, meaning I am now up to date with the Tudor Beasts series. I then received the 2021 Valiant from @Webster this morning. Being new to this I hadn't heard of a Valiant before but loved the design when they were posted for sale and it looks even better in hand.

My favourite however was, unsurprisingly, the 2022 Wombat from the Perth Mint. Just the 2021 to go in order the complete the set. If anyone has one they're willing to part with, please let me know!

Gold Mexico 1/2oz World Cup 1986

 

With a mintage of just 102,000, I was delighted to procure this courtesy of @Colnago

 

The reverse features a footballer in silhouette against the Aztec Calendar - offering a nod to the famous gold Veinte Pesos (total mintage of nearly 8 million!).

 

Priced at peanuts over spot the purchase was a true bargain.

 

Also in the lot were the three pictured Mx .720 silver World Cup coins.
