Its a shame you live all the way in the states I was given a load of those coins of mixed dates/monarchs and some are superb condition.

Are Maundy coins of that era rare? And are different demoniations have different rarity? I think there is a 2 and a 4 penny.

    If the 1841 wasn't rare enough, how about an 1863 - 827 on truncation?  ? ?

Could you explain what this means and what I am looking for in the picture? Thanks :)

Edit: oh I see...I was looking at the date numbers for overstamping

I was lucky to get chosen, then skillful in that I guessed 2 out of 3 coin grades :)

The Mermaid i didn't like that much when it first came out and I saw it in videos and pictures of. But in real life it is really pretty. The Korean coin has a great design also.

I will keep them in the shrink wrap with Numi's name sticking out.

I am not collecting lately, that's why I haven't been around. I sold all my collection except my US coins.

1887 sovereigns   I reckon they would maybe get AU 58.  Other opinions on the potential grades? The indiividual photos are of the £5  ... where there are some surface marks / hairlines ? on the Vic side

They look in Mint shape to me. :)

I had a 1/2 sovereign graded with worse scratches than that and it came MS 61

This may well be the nicest coin I own, had to get it to match my BU version.

These will be so sort after imho with a mintage of only 750, had to grab this PF70. This is only available in the 5 coin "long set", which were 3300 RRP and have sold for 5300 on ebay already, only a few for sale atm at 6-8k.
