Should you not be able to get your money back I would like to offer a few bits of silver as a gesture.  Its not much as I don't stack silver but a couple of nice poured pieces, some fractional proofs, a proof 1937 crown and a lonely brit.  Let me have your address on pm once you know and I will get it posted to you.  Its an eclectic mix but a couple of interesting pieces

I believe if previous sellers have bank payment details from this scumbag they can send through PM to the people involved avoiding GDPR infractions to TSF. Then you can hunt him down on social media, pitchforks and send in the hounds.

There is a guy done the same thing elsewhere today- wonder if it’s the same.

I've contacted the Fraud Action team (for all the good that will do!) and will call my bank tomorrow (apparently the fraud team only works 8am-8pm)

Will let you know of any updates. Am assuming its a foregone conclusion but guess i will know for sure once i've spoken to the bank

I almost bought these tubes! This could of happened to anyone. The person has been a member for a long time and also had a number of positive feedback. Drop me your address if things don’t get sorted and I will send you a couple of bits from my stack. Be a shame for you to completely quit stacking after one bad experience. It’s all about living & learning and the fact that you are even looking into precious metals shows that you want to better your future, so don’t give up now mate

Having read this sellers feedback, it seems all he ever sold were 2018 Silver Philharmonics.  Sold to some big name members to establish a good feedback history so that one day he could plan his big scam.  Hopefully karma comes to him

This kind of thing does huge damage to the forum.  Buying here is based on trust, I don’t get enough of a discount here to justify taking huge risks. I have really enjoyed trading on this forum and only last week made a significant purchase from an honourable seller(I still have to exchange feedback) but, I think in future if sellers without huge feedback don’t clearly indicate by pm who they are I would need to think twice before trading. 
I feel really sorry for you and hope Chris Silver can forward you as much detail as possible of who this guy is to allow you to progress with a fraud claim.

Just to give the flip side of what's happened. Although my feedback doesn't really point this out, but, I have bought enough gold on the forum to have paid for a small 3 bed house, without any real issue. I do try to use those that not only have good feedback but good reputational points and post a lot across the forum. It's a true saying that one bad egg will ruin the omelette. Hope it doesn't put you off stacking or collecting @bestg77
