Yes 14th feb for singles set are treaded differently as and when they come out!

I am waiting for my 5-coin set which i was hoping on grading with First release label. Do you or anyone else knows how i can send them coins as a set to be eligible for First Release label?

Yes just send the full set within 30 days of receiving them, I’ve had this conversation with the NGC last week.  Singles 14th and then the sets as they come out.

So exciting update regarding the piedforts...  I called the mint again today for an unrelated issue (imagine that) but while I was on the phone I asked where my piedfort was. I was told by the chap that they are going out in two batches. One this Friday and one next Friday. So hopefully I'll have mine within the next 2 weeks.

Plus you’re in Cyprus which doesn’t really help matters.

Bankman-Fried may get his first jail release before you get a first release.

I'm hoping to get my replacement in time for the blue label. Not holding my breath. Maybe I should have bought a couple of bullion sov's instead!! lol.

Care to share the text? I’d love to know what it says.

The Royal Mint have announced the upcoming launch of a Queen Elizabeth Memorial Sovereign Gold Bullion Coin, set to be released in February 2023.

These 2022 UK Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Sovereign Gold Bullion Coins will feature a change of reverse design to honour the life and legacy of Britain’s longest-reigning monarch, Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The new design will bear Jody Clark’s new intricate depiction of the Royal Arms, and will be dated 2022.

The 2022 Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Sovereign will feature the first definitive King Charles III portrait by Martin Jennings on the obverse. This is the first ever bullion sovereign to feature our new King, His Majesty Charles III.

Like all Full Sovereigns, the 2022 UK Memorial Full Sovereign Gold Coin will weigh 7.98 grams of 22 carat gold. A Half Sovereign version will also be available.

Regarded as The Royal Mint’s flagship coin, the Sovereign has been associated with the British monarchy for hundreds of years. As these special Sovereign coins feature a change of reverse design, as well as the new portrait of His Majesty The King, they will no doubt be a popular choice for investors and collectors.

should be interesting, not sure how well such an intricate design is going to passover from the proof to bullion.

Buy high. Sell low.

Yeah to be honest I half expected myself to skip it. With how reflective they are, and the lack of frosting, feel like it's gonna be so hard to see anything, will have to be a good strike, if it's anything like the 2012 rip

Gonna get a bunch to pair up with the 2022 QEII Sov. If I was the Royal Mint I’d stick them in a box and bang em out at £1,299 for the first king/last queen /same year pair etc etc

Thats about the only trick they're missing to be honest. I've been waiting to see if any empty royal mint 2x sov boxes come available anywhere.... none yet.

They're currently selling 3 X Melbourne mint mark sovereigns in a box for £2195 for Australia day 🙃

Thanks so much.

So it seems there will be just the Full and Half Sovs. No Quarter and Double like the annual bullion releases.
