No, more like trying to empower people with knowledge that way you don't get stung for cash that could be better used towards another purchase -_-

You can thank me another time B) P.s, the special labels cost $5 a label, times that by 10 and it mounts up eventually

I can't remember who said it but I saw a YouTube video & the guy said buy the coin not the label which I think is good sense, a PF 70 is a PF 70. Obviously if you are a collector & prefer a particular designation fine.

The problem with common sense is, its not that common.

The guy said that in reference to silver graded half dollars from 1964 and 1963 that developed spotting while in the holder.

You should always buy the coin and not the label<_<

the coins grade and the coins eye appeal could sometimes be quite different.

As you can imagine this will be subject to an experiment to convert to NGC ))) should end up as 63 if both organizations are on the ball and correct.

They used to have this table on the CGS website, it was very useful.

it will be interesting to see the crossover result, I always found it to be pretty accurate in the AU50 - MS60 region but haven't seen any real life crossovers higher than this.

@Numistacker are you going to take it out of the slab before sending, or send as is?

They have a disclaimer that can be signed and will take it out of the slab.

@Numistacker will have to explain how they come to the conclusion of " surface hairlines" as these coins looked amazing raw.

Interesting coins and a see you got your fair share of death slabs. It shows in many ways why grading is useful and why uk coin dealers hate grading )) I think the most unfortunate is surface hairlines which is not cleaning but seems to be the most open to debate.

Grading was designed for sight unseen trading and anything that would not normally be present on a standard coin of that type is considered details.

Me too, I'm only a hobbyist after all not a numismatist ;)

(can you hear Steve scoffing at us lol)

In theory, an exchange would be good but the costs can get high for single swaps. Maybe, I'll keep an open mind :)

btw, those coins are very well packaged and presented. First class outfit there.

Great Mexico silver pesos!

I have looked at collecting these, and the earlier 8 reales, due to the Spanish link and they are very impressive in the hand. I am always tempted at the US auctions as getting mexican coins in the UK is almost impossible (goes for anything from central and south america). I do like the small gold 1 peso for a date run though?

1g 2016 Disney Note from JuneYao Group which was sold through Shanghai Pudong Development Bank

$5 Indian Head from HGM.  Didn't think I would get it as I took so long looking up the stats to work out the % over spot since HGM no longer display it.  I missed out on the $2.5 a week or 2 ago for the same reason.

Australian Domed Southern Sky 1oz Gold Coin from the New Zealand Mint.  Very nice packaging.

Always fancied an Indian head. Is it comparable in size to a sovereign?
