Is anyone using Safe Deposit Boxes at Sharps Pixley in London?
7 ounces of gold and 80 ounces of silver might not be a huge amount of PMs, but I start feeling uneasy keeping them at home.
I was considering the small safe deposit box at Sharps Pixely.
My only doubt is that I could only access my assets 40 hourt per week (monday to friday from 9 am to 5 pm).

You are right! They are great collector items (ponzi memorabilia) and they usually sell quick and recover the premium in my experience. This forum will probably be the best place to buy.

I may know more about onions than coins!

Prize Draws:

As well as 12 months of Premium Member Prize Draws, each giving away 1oz of silver to a lucky winner there was also over 24oz of additional silver prizes given away. There were also a lot of charity auctions ran by our members to help raise money for causes that are close to their hearts as well as other charities. We hope to increase the number of Prize Draws and draws to promote TSF as our budget allows. 
 
 
2021 Trade Statistics:

A core part of TSF is the trade section. Many Premium Members have reported saving more than the cost of membership simply by the savings on the items they have purchased from other forum members. Many members also prefer the personal touch of dealing directly with other members. As well as the other listed benefits, Premium Members also get to see the trade listings 3 days before standard members, and with many if not all items that are priced competitively going within this time frame it is worth upgrading to get first look at this items for sale.

7927 trade topics were started in 2021. That is over 21 new trade listings per day. Some of these were wanted listings, but with the majority of ‘for sale’ listings containing multiple items and some containing extensive collections for sale as individual items, it means the items listed for sale far exceed this number. That is over 660 new trade listings per month! This arguably makes TSF’s trade section the largest precious metals trade section of any forum or group.


Some other notable things that happened on TSF in 2021:

- We released a TSF branded NGC label & partnership with Coins of the Realm to provide trustworthy NGC grading services and auction submissions for members.

During the Credit Crisis, physical gold was in short supply, very similar to the situation during Covid, so yes it was easy to liquidate.

Well considering im under 35 and I am experiencing a 3rd recession in my lifetime you are posting up nonsense.

I have been giving my niece a one ounce silver bar each Birthday and Christmas for a number of years. Back in the day i would often give out sovereigns as Birthday gifts (that stopped when prices topped £70). I also give people a silver Britannia for special occasions..
....Most people consider me weird. 😆

If it happens.. I'd also ask; who is going to be selling? As in, those without PMs and nothing but worthless fiat may need to sell/trade other assets whether that be property, cigarettes or alcohol! Those with PMs won't be letting them go easily if the price has been driven up massively. Horrible situation for all of us in many respects. Even if you own a load of PMs, do you really want to be living in a society like that? I personally don't but feel like a monumental crash is inevitable at some point. For me, PMs are about wealth preservation rather than waiting for tenfold increases. I encourage every one I know to do all they can to minimise their debt and buy whatever they can whether it's scrap gold or silver rounds.

Personally I'm aiming to overtake Belgium 
Failing that
.. A I'll focus on stacking bullion sovs unless I spot a particularly great deal on other coins for gold. Silver again I'll pick up some of the bargains but ideally bullion coins or old British coinage 
B tidy up the stack a bit sell a few items that don't fit so well anymore and repeat step A

This 2021 summer is ending (although it feels like here in UK never started). I've been able to make only two purchases during this period, which I am photographing and showing here. I believe that, with the new 2021 design, Britannias are a very cool choice.

The Fábrica Nacional de Moneda Timbre Real Casa de la Moneda planned to launch the first Spanish bullion coin on Dec. 1The Reverse Proof 1-ounce .999 fine gold coin is denominated €1.5, an unusually low denomination for a gold bullion coin of the world.The reverse depicts the head of an Iberian lynx. In addition, the face value (€1.5) appears, with the year date of issue (2021) and the crowned symbol of the Spanish Mint.The coin’s obverse features imagery borrowed from the famous Spanish silver “piece of eight” coin, which circulated around the globe for more than two centuries.The 2021 coin appropriates the Pillars of Hercules design that represents the two hemispheres meeting, with two globes crowned over the seas, and the legend PLVS VLTRA appearing on ribbons mounted on opposite pillars.Legends identify Spain’s current monarch, Felipe VI, and the coin’s weight and fineness.
The coin weighs 31.21 grams and measures 37 millimeters in diameter. The inaugural issue has a mintage limit of 12,000 coins, each delivered encapsulated.
