Anyone know what's happening with the Royal Mint Bullion department? 

First no 2os silver bullion Tudor Beasts Bull with the latest release, ignoring the lack of the Panther that the proof set started with. 

Now there doesn't seem to be a bullion 1oz silver Merlin in the range for the latest Myths and Legends series. Just proof. 

Am I missing something?

Unfortunately, not really. There's one site I buy most of my stuff from that has a nice selection and reasonable prices. It's called Coins & Treasures. 

Haven't really found any coin shops. It's mostly antique shop that also have coins. But the prices are inflated.

Personally i have re-housed my Una bars in hard capsules and am girding my loins to do the same with the three graces. Any product in the original packaging will sell quicker than loose product - whether the packaging will carry a premium is yet to be determined but, historically, it does make a difference in re-sale prices.

I bought a bar for my own pleasure which i will re-house. Anyone who has bought bars to eventually re-sell would be advised to leave them as is.

I'm pretty decided on rehousing the Una bar in a capsule but still in two minds about the Three Graces bar. 

My OCD wants them all to be the same (so I'll have the same conflict when the next bar comes out however its packaged) and I'm not really looking to sell any time soon...

Might wait and see how the next one is released and let future me make the decision 😆

I was under the impression (may have misunderstood videos on YouTube) that soft plastic like the one the bar came in could leave residue on the bar or something like that, and that capsules are a better way to protect them long term. 

As a novice, I figured I'd ask those more experienced, such as yourself, if I am correct in my thinking before doing so.

I thought plastic could damage coins?  Is modern plastic still a danger to coins?

I'm thinking along those lines too... I thought it would be better in a capsule as I'd heard the plastic could ruin it 🤷🏽‍♂️

The Una is definitely going in a capsule

Short for "original mint (or manufacturers) packaging" to the best of my limited knowledge

Need you opinions, please. 

I recently picked up the 1oz Una and the Lion and 1oz Three Graces bars. 

I'm not at all keen on the plastic packaging the Una and the Lion bar comes in so was thinking of putting it in a capsule.

Should I do it or not? 

But then my OCD kicks in and says I want them to both be the same so should I put the Three Graces in a capsule as well or would that ruin the potential future value?

Went back and spoke to the owner... He was surprised to learn it was fake and was really nice about it

Offered me my money back without a fuss but I remembered he had another one

Weighed, measured and magnet tested it, it checked out so I took that one instead 👍🏽
