You should find it impartial and hype-free.
Feedback and suggestions more than welcome.
    P.S. I  can recommend a good dealer! 🙂

Much like everything else, dealers prices go up like rockets and come down like a feathers.

Would be so funny if it did the classic vending machine malfunction and left the bar half hanging off the vender lol

LOL - love the sarcasm assuming it was sarcasm?
Its not a long term plan, I removed most my capital from the stock market.

I literally cant find an asset outside of physical tangibles to invest in now,
I dont like 'booming' or 'all time highs' - thats does not present value.

If inflation starts looking bad, I would buy the most undervalued or hated commodities.
if gold spikes massively I would jump on the GDXJ maybe late, but it would end well.

Id rather sit back and wait for better prices as the only thing I can find atm, is rum. .

I only buy items I am certain is Sterling. No reason you can’t take your scales! I do.

    Hello Tommy.
Thought I would give the carboot a visit this morning. There was definitely potential. Any tips on how to gauge how much to pay for something without getting the scales out? Also is all flatware sterling? Some bits had no markings, any tips there?
    Cheers

Look for the hall mark if it's 925 it should be sterling or 800 for 80% for eg. Scales out I'd say

I personally don't touch anything without a hallmark that can be read,if for no other reason than it will make it easier to sell in the future.

I buy silver at spot from charity shops and flea markets. I picked up a 25g Sterling spoon for 6 pound; 8 florins at 3 pound each and 2 half crowns.

I also picked up 2 x 45-46g Sterling napkin rings for 35 pound total from eBay.

I'm new to the scene, so I'm kind of just looking around to buy the few bits and bobs here and there.
I suppose when you buy on a monthly basis, the ups and downs will balance what you have paid for in the longer run. I guess it just depends on what your individual strategy is

How’s the silver squeeze going, are we at liftoff yet or around the same price we were in Feb?

all that has nothing to do with the price and supply/demand of silver/gold on the futures market.
only those who join in on the price discovery, (buy or sell) need to be counted.
everyone else can keep on talking. until the price actually moves, it's all speculation.

    bottom line is
how is the above not a free market?

I wouldn't touch eBay with a sh*tty stick after the experiences I've had with them. They're an accessory to fraud and nothing is done about them.
    But that's just my opinion.

Anyways back in the real world. It may rise a bit, but we’ll likely see a fall back in pricing before then. Maybe a modest 30 dollars an oz by 2030?
