I don't think you could buy one for love nor money. If memory serves, only a tiny number were minted just for museum collections and perhaps the monarch. I'm not sure if there are any in private hands.

Not posted much recently as ive just been buying sovs and we all know what they look like

Just had a little post Xmas and birthday splurge (40th bday on boxing day) and grabbed the pre owned 2015 Somalian elephant, a 1/10th lunar monkey to bring the set up to date and another sov from Atkinsons.

Should be shipped on Tuesday so will post some pics up on Wednesday when they arrive.

Looking forward to seeing that elephant in the flesh.

 

Might possibly be placing a large order in the next couple of weeks so may be some gold porn coming shortly

Have a rare opportunity tomorrow, the wife is taking my daughter to the cinema to see snoopy and I am off work so that gives me 2 hours peace and quiet so Ill have a go at knocking something up.

Dont expect anything flash, ive just made the switch from windows to linux mint so finding my feet.

Gold fits in to a smaller box, if I went silver instead of gold I wouldn’t be far off 3000 oz by now (a life sized silver statue of myself maybe )

That 50 peso coin makes the US St Gaudens looks a bit lame, I'm surprised they allow it.

37.5g that's a nice weight of gold.

Mexican gold is defo my favorite.

20 peso is the best followed by the 50 peso.

 

Also have the 2 and 10 peso so just need the 2.5 and 5 to finish the set.
