Bought it a while back, July 2014 according to my spreadsheet.

Had it from Coininvestdirect.

Yeah they are out of stock now, I would of picked one up at a reasonable price but the only place I can find them is on eBay from the USA and the postage is expensive and they don't always fill in the customs forms correctly. I will keep an eye out for one.

I won't buy from Bullion by Post after my recent postal experience with them. The price they are charging for the Peso 20 is ridiculous.

Its affecting my OCD badly lol.  Will grab a BU mouse for the set and the proof mouse can go back in to solitary confinement in its own box.

Just had an urge to scratch a gold itch.

Just ordered from Atkinsons -

A 2016 Elephant to go with the 2015 one a grabbed recently -

A RM Lunar money -

a 30g 2016 Panda -

And a random sov to round off my total gold oz

picked up the coins this morning on my way to work -

 

You would never think the elephant and lunar monkey are the same weight coins just by looking at them.

Nice, I was surprised at how big the 1/10 elephant is compared to other 1/10 coins so the full ouncer must be the same.  Is that scratching at the right hand side of the Lunar Monkey?

After spending some time looking at the RM lunar monkey I have come to conclusion its ****.

Truely a piss poor ugly design compared to the Perth Mint series.

The coin finish looks fine in the flesh, for some reason the light scratches show up in the pic more than real life.

1st 2016 Panda - the detail and finish is on another level to most other gold coins.

2nd Somalian Elephant.

3rd Sovereign

4th Crappy Monkey.

I like the size of the ele, just seems like it's bigger than 1oz. But also love the panda design
