Just odd the way its saying ordered on the 17th, hopefully moved to dispatched tomorrow:)

Odd yes but normal for the RM lol.

I ordered a full and a half for £900 which has been taken with  email confirmation, But if I check my orders I've apparently ordered 3 full sovs lol and no mention of the half.

But I'm sure they will turn up soon as this all happened when I ordered the Tudor beasts panther last month too, Bought 1 but still has 3 showing in my account 🤣

I’ve also decided to order the print…am thinking I will grade one of the three sets I’ve ordered and probably sell (potentially with the print?), and then keep the other three set and single sov for my own collection.

As others have said, weird stuff going on in my order history for these…showing as three for each single order and also order date changed from 15th to 16th? Very odd, but am not worried, will let RM do their thing, as long as they don’t arrive with any imperfections 😂

Why some of you want to take these coins out of their lovely display boxes and stick them in a bit of plastic is beyond me.

Can't you just leave them in their original state, never knowing or really caring if they are PF69 or PF70 :)

Are you getting anymore sets or are they genuinely completely sold out?

Couldn't agree more sir...but getting their coins graded does increase the premiums..each to their own...I prefer the beauty of coins in their omp's while others see and hope for a $£ increase to get a few more £'s.......again,each to their own..

Regards..

Who cares what other people decide to do with their coins, there are a myriad of reasons why people grade them & other people buy them, you or anyone else arn't compelled to buy them.

The problem with common sense is, its not that common.

We are trying to get more but the information seems to be there are no more, unless members of the Mint don't take up their offerings or customers return any.

We have 60 people on our cancellation list, and can probably find just one set between them. We should have some nice photos tomorrow though.

Ahh well at least now I can stop checking the bleeding RM site every hour lo😅😅, thinking the same thing that happened with the Tudor beasts panther will happen with these ( and some will reappear)

I have a question, should dealers grade and cash in on PF70's or should we sell raw to customers to have slabbed themselves?

Customers often ask, is it slabbed? I always say that's for you to do, win or lose.

Doesn’t stop a person from having an opinion on the relative new “business” of grading. For me, I think it is a pile o s****. However will not stop me from exploiting, if there comes a time when I want to sell.
Did u not post about breaking out coins from grading holders in the past or is my memory failing?

Let's not start a graded vs ungraded fight again! :D

I'm with @Allgoldcoins, the full and half look fantastic in their original boxes, really smart.

The 3, 4 and 5 set can be broken and graded if you like 👍

I did indeed break out an MS 69 lunar S1 2oz monkey because I collected them all in raw form & at the time could not get a 2oz monkey anywhere. Like I have mentioned on another thread 95% of my collections are in the raw form but I have zero problem with other people collecting everything graded. I don't understand what the fuss is about. If you don't like graded coins don't buy them.

Fair enough. I’m ambivalent about the the topic, , raw when I buy, graded if I think will add ££  and looking to sell.
As you say, each to their own.

Agreed, it’s been done to death

Except raw is definitely better 😁👍

Some dealers do, surely thats down to what sort of buyers you have coming to you and what your business model is?

personally if its a coin I'm after i’ll buy it slabbed or not if the price reflects the coins value to me, i’ll then slab it if its not as that's what I collect (which seems to be often forgot or not appreciated in these ‘debates’, once a coin is slabbed it doesn't mean it then enters a continous cycle of being sold and bought, it goes into collection like any other coin raw or not.)

The risk for someone who intends to sell after grading is always that if you dont get 70 on the modern coins then realistically (a few exceptions) there isnt a premium over whatever the raw price is. And worth noting that there are a lot of coins in 70 grade that dont sell for any more or less than their raw counterparts do as they simply aren’t widely sort after.

in terms of the 2022 sovereign, a 70 will get a premium over raw and a 69 is likely to sell at or slightly under raw.

I find the whole graded vs not graded discussion is now just used by some to incite arguments and divide the forum community with witless and arrogant comments. Its not hard really and even for the witless, surely they can appreciate and simply accept some might actually prefer their coins slabbed. Thats not directed at any dealer, but one or two individuals on here now who beat the same drum day after day, post after god awful post.

while im on, regarding the whole flipping debate, flip away I say and get what you can. If there is a buyer at the level you are asking then why not, its how everything works. Pretty sure those complaining about the flippers wouldn’t make the reverse argument if a coin is being offered to them below market rate.
