The design is just amazing. Fell in love the first time I saw the promo video (which I love its music background BTW).

Suddenly the 10oz capsule disappeared from the market 😑

have you tried Atkinson's? funnily enough I currently have an empty 10oz and no Una bar 😂

Is the VAT charged to customers outside UK? Yeah that VAT is some nerve, especially suggesting tax adds value to anything, right.

Customers buying from outside of the UK/EU, e.g. USA, usually can buy from The Royal Mint without the VAT. However there may be import tax in the USA, or even incorrectly charged import tax added at import.

My posts are my personal opinions, they do not constitute advice or financial advice.

Thanks for that, yes obviously need to look into the local import duties, however fairly sure in Australia our so called democratically elected stooges, decided G&S are constitutionally "money" so they do not tax it. I don't think this applies to platinum and palladium however. If I import any other goods valued $1000 and above then 10% GST is charged before they will forward it to you.

I am tempted with the 100oz, just a big chunk of change.

chunk change as opposed to chump change, I can imagine. LOL

these are really a beautiful collector piece, perhaps not so easy to liquidate in SHTF scenario

I dunno, I think the sheer bulk that 100 oz brick detracts from the design a little bit.  That could just be jealousy talking though - a hefty bit of silver like that is waaaaay out of my price range!

That 10 oz version keeps calling out to me though.  I almost hope they go out of stock soon to remove the temptation.  I keep telling myself that I need to focus more on stacking for a bit, but RM keep producing these gorgeous pieces to tempt my inner collector...

The 10oz are even more beautiful in hand 😉

I agree, I prefer the 10oz. I'm also a little jealous.😀

That big yellow mark appears to be on the bar itself I think

Id send it back. I've just ordered one of these along with the 100oz. I paid a bloody big premium so if they have any imperfections i will be sending them back for replacements.

*sigh* I've literally had to return every Una bar I've had delivered by RM now. So this makes 4 in total. Something is telling me I'm not supposed to have this bar

I've returned my 10 oz silver bar because it was actually sheared off at the bottom left corner.  Definitely like that when minted, it isn't a dent.  I spoke with a helpful gent in the customer services team on the phone and the bar has gone back for an exchange.

Thankfully my 1 oz gold bar is fine, no big yellow marks.

But quality control at the RM is shockingly poor, which makes the purchasing experience somewhat fraught.

You might want to wait until the money is back in your investment wallet and then order it again yourself. They've had mine for a week now and still nothing. Had to call them 3 times, sent 4 emails and leave them 2 scathing reviews on trustpilot. And still nothing but empty promises
