  1. very nice. But are they all ruined with milk sots?
  2. I got them from a guy on a Facebook group. Pretty damn expensive.
  3. There is one bit of the coin that looks slightly thicker than the rest of the coin, but i assume thats just because its bullion grade
  4. I took it out the capsule and put it next to the others and it's the same size, it has a ding in it where it looks like its been dropped and looks like solid gold all the way through. Everything on it looks legit but the colour is just ever so slightly darker than the rest. Magnet did nothing. I tapped them with the magnet and to taps all sounded the same too. its 2020
  5. I've been buying gold Britannia coins recently. I have 6 of them now but 1 of them is a slightly darker colour to the rest. I thought it may be because it was older than the others but i bought an even older one yesterday and its the same colour as the new ones. But 24k gold shouldn't tone over time should it? It's made me think the darker one could be fake? How can I test it?
  6. I got these air tight caps and tubes today. They are so cool!
  7. 1 have a 100oz una bar for sale. £3200 or I would swap for 2x 1oz gold Britannia's
  8. I Have just got back into stacking again after a year break. I like to collect Royal Mint bullion coins and bars, both gold and silver. It was an enjoyable way to stack for me to try and get one of each of the different kinds of coins/bars that they make. However because I stopped for a year I have missed quite a few things and now I'm getting back into it I'd like to try and get all the bits I've missed. Does anyone know if there is a website or something that lists all of the different things that the Royal Mint has had available for sale over the years? So I can see exactly what I've missed? Thanks
  9. That would only make the price more. The blister basically is the capsule?
  10. What's everyone thoughts on the new gold coins in blister packs from the royal mint? I think they are really cool.
  11. The Royal Mint has been pretty much completely out of stock on all gold and silver bars for weeks and weeks now. Every now and they they will add 1 or 2 10g gold bars or something which im guessing they just find laying around in stock rooms or something? As its only very few of them are listed, but they just sell out immediately. WHY are they doing this? They always have plenty of bullion coins and proof coins, so they are not "out of precious metals" or anything. I collect Royal Mint Bullion and this is very frustrating as I can't buy any of the items I want to buy.
  12. I have included photos. That fake of yours looks identical to the real ones. So maybe my one is fake too? But would it be worth it for them to fake a 1g bar?
  13. I bought a royal mint gold bar in a blister pack. But the packaging seems a little different to the other royal mint bars i have. How can i tell if i have a fake or not?
  14. I've seen a few youtube videos of preppers who like to stack pre 1992 British copper pennies. The idea being that its the next step down from silver, in coin form and that in a s**t hit the fan situation people may go back to using metals as currency which would likely be gold, silver and bronze/copper, and you can still easily get them in your everyday change. Pennies later than 1992 are actually copper plated steel. Complete worthless trash. I think they moved to steel because a 2 pence coin for instance was worth 4 pence in scrap value. Which is another reason to stack them. If you can get 1 and 2 pences for face value, when they take them out of circulation you will legally be allowed to sell them as scrap, in theory doubling your money. And if for any reason the price for copper was to go lower then you can always cash them in as legal tender so it's a win win situation. I think it's something worth doing on top of stacking gold and silver. Has anyone else ever heard about this? Does anyone on here also do it? I'd like to hear peoples thoughts on it. I used to do it myself. I arranged for the post office to order me in £40 worth of 1 and 2 pences in every Friday for me. Then all i had to do was use a big magnet to separate the trash from the real money. Then i would bag up and cash in all the junk and put the remaining money towards doing it again the next week.
