Its not conspiracy theory I'm happy to present threads and evidence to you with proof that banks have been caught for manipulating metals, ask for second opinion like from @Minimalist.  And there are plenty of wall st proffessionals whose blown the whistle on these games with the comex. Google andrew maguire who blew the whistle on it the silver manipulation.

I think manipulations do occur in the short term. In the long term they get ironed out: think about it, if gold/silv is manipulated downwards, then just buy it! No doubt Mr Maguire and his new Kinesis outfit are able to pick up gold cheaply and correct the impact of manipulation.

The wallstreetbets crew / wolf of wall street types are the ones doing the real manipulation, by having an outsized impact on small markets.

Its like going to your local Shell garage, and instead of paying 1.49 per litre, you pay 0.39 per litre, and then cry because Shell and BP are a cartel, etc etc

Im inclined to slightly disagree Oil and other commodities are less easily dominated and the market and commodity cap is much larger, oil is in abundnce. The market for PMs is so much smaller and can be so much easier to control. And the deriratives market has polluted the system. Junk bonds and paper markets havent made the market transparent. I have the view that if we are to prosper as a society that it should be transparent and sadly it isnt, its a rigged game espically with metals. the banks are owned by the small few of hedgefunds, under the guise of about 10 people around the world. Socialism for the rich, to make them more rich and continue to squeeze the middle working class is wrong becuase they are the engine of britains economy and potentially if that happens, you will see pitchforks at dawn. Anyway horses for courses, but its all to me, about doing your due dilegence and research :)

thats true. In capitalism, its every man against man, in communism, its the other way round.

gold has held up well, especially since GBP has done well also this year.

Im a captalist to have a true capiltailist economic freedom,  Mises and Hayek are those ecomonic models -  but the illusion is being spread it is by those in power capitilsm works, but the Keynesian model doesnt is but in essence it is socialism for the 0.0001%.

Markets arent free, just the illusion are spread that way through the guise of politics. Weve never really had a free market sadly espically since Nixon took the gold standard away. The game  is being run by crony capitalists, the PPE scandal proved that, until governmental and economic reforms happen, this will sadly stay this way.

The pancea of this are banks mainly central ones, big government financial governing bodies, like the FCA. Why is crypto being banned, thats not capitilsm, thats not free market? But hedge funds can still trade it but all mainstream banks have banned in the UK for retail customers. The ittle guy is again out of pocket.

Not one one single banker less a couple of traders have gone to jail or CEOs help accountable, look at the 2008 crash masses and masses of fraud going on. Legarde who runs the ECB has a crimnal record for fraud and is still in power and in charge.

Federal Reserve set to announce start of its withdrawal of emergency support for the economy

“This is an important meeting. It’s the Fed meeting we’ve been waiting for since May or June,” said one economist.

When the Federal Reserve wraps up its meeting today, the central bank is expected to announce that it will begin to wind down one of its biggest and most unprecedented market interventions undertaken in the wake of the pandemic. Wall Street, meanwhile, will be listening to hear what Fed Chairman Jerome Powell has to say about the stubbornly persistent inflation that is beginning to create interest rate anxiety on Wall Street.

“They’ll definitely talk about inflation pressures that have become more sticky,” said said Keith Buchanan, portfolio manager at Globalt Investments.

well now that Shatner has come back down, they will probably shoot an ape up next year. Racial diversity is a big thing stateside.

i guess one monkey lost in space is a monkey saved, the last anything wants is to find home back alien life in the form of a Bezos type character, trying to ingrataite oneself with the misses who you had originally wanted to escape from in the first place.
