I have to say I'm with @augur on this one.  As long as I've been collecting (which isn't a terribly long time), I've never even seen that image of QEII before.  Almost looks Pobjoy-ish.  @Sovereign, you mentioned you'd done some research online and found JB on some images but is this an official portrait?  For government issued coinage, I guess I was under the assumption it had to be one of the handful of official portraits.  I am a Yank so we may be able to chalk this up to "I don't know what the hell I'm talking about".  

NCS will definitely be able to hook you up though.  Remember Numi's pics of that George VI proof Sov with the red spot?  If they can work that kind of magic, this should be a walk in the park for them.

This one is coming home with me too. Finally get to see what I ordered in the flesh from the ever reliable @arshimo2012 a couple of months ago and at a wee discount from the RM price to go with the 3 coin premium set, sotd and piedfort.

Walked into Sharps Pixley this morning to buy a sovereign. Was going to buy a 2017 but opted for the 1895 Melbourne Victoria as it seemed more interesting.

Also picked up a 100 gram silver bar and on the way out noticed they had 1 kilo copper bars so picked one up as well.

They supply their coins & bars in little cloth bags for good measure.

From what I hear the 1/10th will have a mintage of 300 and the 1/4oz will have 500 but with Mexico it could be double or half.

Those are likely to be the two lowest mintage gold BU coins this year.

Perfect coin, relieved, glad I swapped it

You would be hard pressed to tell which one is BU and which one is proof by the naked eye

If that's your second  2017 SOTD from Chard, your lucky, I'm still waiting on my first. I wouldn't mind so much, however, they took the money from my bank for it last month. I'm glad you received a good one.

Have you talked to them? they rang me to arrange postage (missed the call) had to ring them back

I don't think they post out unless they talk to you first

Collected my coin from BYBs group order from the post office this morning. My first ever 10 oz coin and a nice momento/reminder of lovely family vacations in Vancouver and Toronto recently.

No milk spots so far [emoji41] although I'm not too concerned; I Wanted to add 10 oz and this appeals much more than a plan silver bar.
