The Today I received section is for private individuals to share items they have purchased for their collection / as part of their investment.

The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. The Today Chards Received..... topic.

It s a 1 Oz gold coin. At 1657 (Atkinson) has a 9% premium. But...there are only 7500 of them which is agood number in terms of scarcity.Surely they ll hold their premium, but like with everything else, people will wanted always...always, after is gone. In that respect I bought 1, just to say, yes...I've got it.

Certainly seems a safer bet than the corresponding proof coins.

Ich habe kürzlich diese wunderschöne Silbermünze „Jahr der Schlange“ erhalten. Vielen Dank@silvergaga für euren Rat. Eine Münze aus dem Geburtsjahr 1953.

Ähmm..... what does the coin have to do with the year 1953? As far as I know, the year of issue was 2013. Or am I not understanding your background correctly. :o Greetings from Maxe.

Picked this up today at a well known French touristy place, feels pretty underweight, but the vending machine assured me its a limited edition. Worth grading?

looks like a mistrike under france and not struck flush.  so maybe a rare error.  stick it on ebay for £80k.

just remember the vaseline for the camera lens and you found it in a house clearance ;)

Just to add - I'll be going back tomorrow, happy to pick one up for anyone interested. Obviously a premium item, so will need a €3 payment upfront. Reply either here or by PM if you're shy!

What ones they got at the moment? It was star wars ones when I took my kids (about 5 years ago)

At home waiting for the postman myself 😄.

What is it like in hand? I do like this obverse design of C111 and look forward to seeing it on a decent size coin.
