Yes.  They tend to be on the pricey side as the mintages aren't terribly high.  I saw Atkinsons or somebody had them, but wanted something like £500.

Received these today amongst some other more interesting coins and collections which were part of an auction lot.

Think they're all Windsor Mint plated.

Does anyone know if there's any interest out there for this kind of stuff? I usually go straight for bullion or silver proof stuff. These just happened to be part of the lot.

Think ebay would be your best bet with those tbh.

There is s non precious metals section on here you can try, just not sure you will get much traction. Ebay is a far wider audience.

Received today a very nice Coronation silver coin in reverse proof. Now, this and the standard proof silver 2oz make a nice pair. \

COA mentions reverse frosted with a max mintage of 1006.

New shield today in a year that I have found particularly hard to get hold of, 1887 Young Head, Sydney in this case

Not a perfect coin, but a year I feel you should grab if you see it as they come up so rarely.  Rates as scarce in Marsh with exactly 1,000,000 minted but that is split over the the shields and George and dragon and I see a LOT of the G&D.  I suspect if the split in mintage was known this would be a rare as a minimum.  The Melbourne of the same year is rated as R3 with a mintage of 1.9m over the two reverses 🤷‍♂️

I don’t think you can argue with the quality it’s just wether the mint has got the provenance to justify the cost (it hasn’t imo) 

Maybe in years to come and if the mint is still going these will do well but at £80 each they do feel a little pricey. Still very very nice

I don't think you can argue the provenance - most of Le Grand Mint's products are high quality limited-edition proofs.  These Durgas are positively slumming it by their usual standards.

 2023 Royal Mint - Six Decades of 007 - Movies of the 1970's - 2oz Silver

Sharing a photo before it has to be packed off back to the mint.  Unfortunately came with just too many faults / impacts.  Hopefully the replacement will be an improvement.  🤞

A nice little presentation with 4 empty slots and a nice looking half-crown. No doubt you'll be able to 'add' othersuch coins later.

But I like the coin, for a free coin, it's nice enough...

So where's the catch?3 (or 4) commemorative 24ct 'layered' gold crowns for £39.95 p&p, each! 😱

I got this Silver Eagle 1986 Proof Coin "S" mintage from a Coin Dealer Shop.

I think it is a little bit more valuable than the normal bullion, but it arrived from the store with no certificate of authenticity.

What should I do with it? 

Get a special box for it?
