Today I received an email from the US Mint that my order was being shipped, its only half an order for three Philadelphia mint 2021 morgans and the other half of the order, my 3 x 2021 peace dollars are on back order..I got billed for the morgans but not the peace dollars so called them up, with them calling me back a mear three hours later, it turns out they won't take delivery of the peace dollars till later this month so it's OK, I still have my peace dollars.
Others on you tube are getting similar emails, for their cc's, s, o's and d morgans, having money taken out or half orders shipping etc, if any of you are suffering the same just know its chaos everywhere right now, some thing billed, some not, some moved to processing, some to shipping, some contacted about failure to collect and having to use different sources for payments....its just another day at the U.S Mint.

I personally have a very polarized belief about crypto.  After years of downplaying it for being a massive fugazi, I finally gave in during the March 2020 crash and have been swing trading it ever since.
I still don't trust it enough to hold long-term, but for immediate cash profit its been highly successful.  I simply use them to purchase more precious metals at the end of a cycle.  By no means am I some savvy investor, but I find swing trading crypto easier than stocks.

I have my savings split about 80% PMs and 20% crypto. Both are long term investments that I intend to hold for many many years.
The metals are safe way of making a bit of money with very little risk of losing out in the long run. Crypto is more of an all or nothing ‘no win bet’. I figured that in 10 years from now there is a good chance that they could drop to zero but if they are still around then there is a fair chance that I might have made a 1000X profit on one of them.
Basically they are a high risk high gain proposition so for this reason I wouldn’t put any more money in than I already have. But as a speculative punt they have a lot of potential over the long term so are worth a shot in my opinion.

Personally I wouldn't sell at a loss unless either I needed to have the £ there and then for some sort of financial emergency or I had an opportunity that would make it more than worthwhile to take a loss
Eg if I were to lose £3k on the metal but the same money would go into a deal to make £10k
The problem with trying to time the market you could miss out on the bottom. I prefer buying consistently over time which could be an option in your case if you continued to buy would 'average down'
Ultimately if you will sleep better with the cash in your bank than the gold that's for you to decide.
Perhaps a final question does it have to be all or nothing? Could you sell part of the stack?

    Hi Johny,
Just my thoughts and of course everyone is different in their outlook and thoughts.
    (1) I buy to hold - pretty much most things (including metals) are bought for the long term i.e. to keep for 10+ years.
    (2) Personally, I don't subscribe to conspiracy theories around bankrupting everyone deliberately.  Having worked in Investment Banking for 20+ years, I can confidently tell you that they are very much less organised and planed than you would ever believe, I understand the same is true for most governments who they advise.
    (3) Markets go up and down and it is hard to predict what they will do - its a gamble.  I assume you are talking about Robert Kiyosaki who has been pumping out PR about market crashes.  I haven't looked to see if he is promoting a new book or product, but do remember that this 'wizard' has had a couple of companies go bankrupt under his ownership.  He now specialises in telling people how to make money......as his career.
    (4) I think everyone really needs to do their own education and research around investment decisions.  The same research department / commentators can (and often do) predict a bull and bear market in the same WEEK!  People on social media etc often have an agenda - I ignore this and look at broad market fundamentals

I think the idea of the scam is that the banks would be likely to assemble a roll out of a bag of coins from one year and one mint. This would have been done soon after the discovery of all those bags in bank vaults in the early 60's. I have seen some with a MS CC Morgan at each end but who knows what in between.
