paulmerton got a reaction from 365DaysofSilver in ‘Limited Edition’ Silver Coins
I already knew that - I came upon it while I was checking out your other videos  I liked the one with the watch case, as that sort of storage solution had never occurred to me.
If you like the giraffe coin, that's great! I probably would have bought a similar coin as a one-off if the picture was something I was really, really interested in, but giraffes do not float my boat.Â
Don't let what other people like/dislike stop you from buying other things you like. Not everything you enjoy in life has to be an investment.

That's only going to attract more scrutiny, possibly resulting in the secret gold stash also being rumbled!

paulmerton got a reaction from Gruff in SILVER DEALS - (UK & Europe) See a deal, post it here
Just received mine - ordered a pair of the cheapest "mixed date" maples and britannias along with a couple of other bits.
The maples I received were both shiny new 2021 ones, and the brits were 2020, so that was nice.
Still fairly good prices on the single coins at the moment, especially with the free delivery.

🌟 Today I received a business bank account and am trading under the name Wilson Numismatics as a sole trader! 🌟
I will provide my new details to new and regular buyers alike as and when an order is placed.Â
I kindly request that all orders be paid for using bank transfer to my new business account.
Other than this I will continue to operate as usual selling wonderful gold and silver coins to the community here on The Silver Forum!
Thank you! 🌟

As some of you may have noticed, I was recently after the special silver 2016 Canadian Maple Leaf with the Mark V tank privy mark (50k mintage) that commemorated 100 years of the tank.Â
As is typical, you wait ages for one and then four come along at once Â

Not exactly precious metals, but not particularly cheap either!
A pair of 1.5-inch solid metal cubes.
The tungsten one weighs exactly 1kg, which feels unearthly heavy for something so small (unless you happen to have a 1kg gold bar!). In contrast, the aluminium (sorry, aloominum) cube feels unfathomably light and it's hard to believe it's not hollow.

I'm in the UK and found the easiest way from our perspective is to buy things like this on eBay from Europe because the value is low enough for the eBay platform to add the import VAT at the time of purchase.
That means it arrives fairly quickly and you will not have to pay any VAT or exorbitant handling fees when it arrives.
However! It seems to have gone very wrong in my case, as I ordered both items separately and paid VAT up-front on both, along with two lots of postage; but the seller posted them in the same parcel so the combined value took it over the threshold for prepaid VAT, so I got a message from royal mail saying I will have to pay VAT etc.
Double vatted!Â
This wil be fun to sort out, but at least it's not a massive amount.

I'd be interested to see or read about your setup for producing such good coin photos (or is that a trade secret?!)
